Strategic location, close to most of the sights. The receptionist has limited command of English. Charged us for 1.50 euro per piece for luggage storage. Also, had to try several times ringing the bell of the hostel. A kind Spanish passenger helped us reached him by simply pressing the door bell repeatedly and spoken to him in Spanish to let us in.

Could not be in a better location. Multi-lingual staff was very helpful, generous and fair, and provided great hospitality overall. One bathroom per floor, not including the ensuite ones, but it is a very small Hostal so the 1 bathroom was fine. Rooms are what you expect. Sheets, blanket and pillows provided were clean and relatively new. Towels not provided, but borrowed for 1 euro. If you need a cheap, quality place to stay in Madrid, this is it. I would be happy to return.

the hostel is very simple but has all the necessery things.....and it is clean and near the center! I liked ! Brasil

The staff were extremely helpful, kind and courteous. The room however did not have wi-fi, it was quite noisy, and the bed was a little bit saggy, but good value for money. If ever in Madrid I would return, just because of the friendly staff.
