The instruction given here to the hostal is not clear enough, it simply said within walking distance from the bus station. I googled the place and still find it hard to reach it as Sevilla has a lot of narrow pedestrian streets that are very confusing for new comers. Anyway, people in Sevilla are very friendly and helpful. Though I couldn't speak Spanish at all and most of them couldn't speak English, they are very nice and tried their best to tell us the direction.

Me and my boyfriend stayed one week in Pension Montorena, the first 4 days we shared a flat (with bathroom and kitchen) with a couple of friends of us, while the remaining three days we stayed in a double room (no private bathroom). We are satisfied with the hostel, the quality/price ratio ws good, we did not expect anything special as we were paying less than 20 euros per night. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the temperature inside was unexpectedly very pleasant, despite of the 37C outside

secure, polite staff, fantastic location.clean. just the room was a bit small. but what do you need? if we wanted to stay in a room, why go on an exploration holiday? i loved it. just dont run into the room when you open the door, because youll end up out the window!!!

Very good hostel, the staff is nice and helpful, excellent location. Air conditioning is not included in price and our room was really hot since we only had internal window. The hostel has very nice terrace, bathroom is big and clean.

The staff here spoke no English and took a long time to process our check-in. The rooms were incredibly small and no breakfast/food was offered. The shared bathroom was shared by too many and there was often a wait to use the shower/toilet and the facilities were not modern. The A/C came at a surcharge. However, the terrace was nice, although could do with more chairs/tables and there was little atmosphere on the terrace. There was minimal other communal space.

Very small rooms. Not really a place you'd like to spend any more time in than necessary. Just slept there. Wasn't looking for anything else than a place to sleep though, so I guess this was okays. Location is awesome. Thanks are in order for the relaxed attitude towards for example taking showers in the night. 24-hour reception worked mostly well. The ringing bell disturbs other inhabitants though, and also on one occasion nobody came to answer the door except some other inhabitants after a bit

The hostel was a great place to sleep, which is all we needed. Sunday morning was a bit noisy. The place was very clean. If you are looking for spacious rooms, it is not the place, but the bed was comfortable and everything was quite clean. We were also warm enough with out the heat, as plenty of bed covers were provided. After a few cañas it is hard to get back but it was a good place to stay overall.

Good Location, very andalusian, but they wanted to charge us for using the air conditioned in winter and the room was really cold!

The room was very clean and nice. The only problem was that the facilities were so small and often it was necessary to wait a very long time to get into the restroom at all.

The location was great however my room was very cold. I asked the reception if they had a heater and I was basically told no and that's why they had extra blankets on the bed. Even with the blankets my room was still very cold. The shower leaked and on the second night of my stay there was a lot of banging downstairs which made me, as a solo female traveler, a bit nervous. Apparently the noise was the security door. Overall, you get what you pay for. Not horrible but not the best either.

Some staff members spoke no english. It was a winter stay and it would have been nice if they had mentioned there were heaters. We froze the first night. Staff not very knowledgeable about local transport and sometimes had the feeling that they were trying to sell me tickets for something rather than giving me a real recommendation. But all in all they were very nice, it was a good experience and i´d stay there again.
