PUTRID: Although not much can be expected from this hostel, given its location in lovely and friendly morocco, this hostel was subpar to anything I have ever seen. If you stay, bring an appetite for bed bugs, athletes foot and filthy showers.

Nice location, friendly staff, although we had a little problem with the payment in Euro which was solved almost smoothly.

Souika has always been an excellent place for me to relax and enjoy the city, and the surrounding countryside in an unhurried and unstressed manner. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. This was my sixth stay there, and it has never been disappointing.

It's a decent place. Staff were good and can book bus and train tickets at no extra cost. Had a nice terrace to chill out and good Internet. Rooms were comfy and there was plenty of blankets so you wouldn't get cold at night

The roof terrace is really nice. There are usually some hippies smoking up there. We don't smoke but they were very nice people nonetheless. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast (costs extra) was nice to eat on the roof in the sun. Computers with internet were available. Cool place, would stay again.

Awesome location and good for its money, with an incredible roof terrace overlooking the city. However there was no hot water left and the rooms got very cold!

The hostel is great for those on a budget that want to be in a great location. I was booked for two nights and only stayed for one. I found the share bathrooms were clean to start with on arrival however by the morning they were dirty. I did not use the facilities after this. I checked into another hotel. There are many options for accommodation in the town that are cleaner and just as cheap.

Bring your own toilet paper and be prepared for a terrible shower. Beds are large and comfortable. Staff is friendly enough. Strong wifi and free computers. Really beautiful roof terrace. Lockers are small and I couldn't open mine.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The location is excellent, in the heart of the old medina, and there is an AMAZING rooftop terrace where many hours can be whittled away, enjoying some of the local produce & chatting to expats that are all in the area for the same reason. ;) Just make sure that if you're checking-out super early to catch the bus that you have exact change. I had to leave quite a tip as there was no change at 6am :(

Very good location in the centre of Xaouen but not very friendly staff. We had a problem changing the reservation more than 24hours in advance. The room was freezing cold and it was only one shower and one toilet in our floor. Good place to go in summer but not very confortable in winter because of the cold.
