The roof terrace is really nice. There are usually some hippies smoking up there. We don't smoke but they were very nice people nonetheless. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast (costs extra) was nice to eat on the roof in the sun. Computers with internet were available. Cool place, would stay again.

Awesome location and good for its money, with an incredible roof terrace overlooking the city. However there was no hot water left and the rooms got very cold!

Actually, too hard to find at the first time. But after finding casba or spuare, it can be much easily. i slept 2nights, but couldn't hot shower. and too cold during sleep.

The hostel is great for those on a budget that want to be in a great location. I was booked for two nights and only stayed for one. I found the share bathrooms were clean to start with on arrival however by the morning they were dirty. I did not use the facilities after this. I checked into another hotel. There are many options for accommodation in the town that are cleaner and just as cheap.

Bring your own toilet paper and be prepared for a terrible shower. Beds are large and comfortable. Staff is friendly enough. Strong wifi and free computers. Really beautiful roof terrace. Lockers are small and I couldn't open mine.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The location is excellent, in the heart of the old medina, and there is an AMAZING rooftop terrace where many hours can be whittled away, enjoying some of the local produce & chatting to expats that are all in the area for the same reason. ;) Just make sure that if you're checking-out super early to catch the bus that you have exact change. I had to leave quite a tip as there was no change at 6am :(

Very good location in the centre of Xaouen but not very friendly staff. We had a problem changing the reservation more than 24hours in advance. The room was freezing cold and it was only one shower and one toilet in our floor. Good place to go in summer but not very confortable in winter because of the cold.

The hostel was in an excellent location, the staff were friendly and being able to book bus tickets through them was excellent! Everything was clean and free towels and extra blankets were great.

If you clean the shower more often it would be a lot nicer. There are three showers but one of them is less than 6 feet to the ceiling, one is by the lobby, and the third is directly next to the hot water on the upper floor. Everyone uses that one and it's pretty gross. 40 dirty hippies are great except for all the hair and toenail clippings. If you installed lockers in the rooms then your security would be a lot better.

The best hostel I've stayed in after 10years of travelling in Morocco.

Solid place. Funny atmosphere, with a ton of stoners sleeping for ultra cheap on the roof. I enjoyed it. Excellent location.

Great location, moments walk from Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Most of the staff were great and it was cleaned a few times/day. Unfortunately with so many people staying there the bathrooms got dirty and smelly very fast. If it was cleaner my review would be better. Despite the cleanliness issues I'd stay there again in a heart beat. Awesome value for your $!!!

This was a very interesting hostel! Not the cleanest or newest by any stretch of the imagination, but very well located next to the medina and quite comfortable. We stayed in the dorm room and had it to ourselves for the last few nights, as most new guests were staying on the roof. Looked like great fun up there! Plenty of atmosphere, a cheap choice for Chefchaouen.

Great place to stay for some cheap nights. Right in the medina, just a couple of stairs to the main square. Nice rooftop terrace with excellent views over city and mountains. Basic but good toilet and shower facilities, which are cleaned ever day.

It is cheap so don't expect too much. Our twin room was ok but the bedsheets were definitely not changed and washed before, a no-go! Bathroom is elementary, better bring your own toilet paper. The rooftop is a nice place with great view over the medina. Location is really central in the medina, near the kasbah (fortress) and the main square. Two pcs with free interent in the hall.
