It is what you pay for. Central to the medina so it is easy to navigate around. There is little security there so maybe lock your bag when leaving as there always seems to be a few guys out the front that try and hustle you to buy hash, which was annoying. The staff are nice and can book buses for you and tell you where the best bessara is in town! Try it.

The bathroom was rarely clean, the room was insanely humid. There was a hole in our room's wall, so we had to wait until the people from the other room turned out their lights, so that we could sleep.

Place was lovely but during not so warm time, there was mostly cold water only...in the mornings there was some warm water, so people who had stayed there longer, were waking up early to have the chance to have warm shower. For the price its OK but would have been good if there was some info about it also. And with toilet paper was the case that there never was any but then I went to ask and seemed that everybody has to carry around their own toilet paper given by hostel.

Everything. excellent. Lovely Riad, helpful staff. They will cook you meals at prices below those of the cafes in Chefchaouen. Room was comfy. Prices the best I have encountered. Location is great and easy to find from the square.

Generally speaking it is a well located hostel with more or less all what you need (except proper kitchen - if you want to prepare meals by your own, but it isn't a huge problem, as food is inexpensive in Morocco). But although Souika is characterised by lot of virtues it lacks nice staff. Guys seem to be bored to the highest possible level and are a rather poor source of information about what to do in town, surroundings etc.

Cool location and good rooms. Some of the staff could have been a little more helpful and take a little time to give some advice/information. Even though they were very nice, they made it seem like you were always hassling them.

The staff were really unhelpful and not very knowledgable about the local area. Either that or they just didnt care very much. The whole place smells of weed and someone kept throwing their cuttings into the shared toilet while we were there. Also, they say they have breakfast but they said they didnt have any when we asked. I was happy to leave. The only good thing was the location.

There needs to be hot water and toilet paper. The ceiling in the room needed to be fixed....flaking and mouldy. The staff was also inconsistent. Some were more honest than others.

It was a good value for money, but I think I would stay somewhere else next time. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and it was freezing! I suggest bringing your own toilet paper (which I like to do when traveling just in case) because this hostel will likely run out/ not have any.

I have nothing poor to say about Souika. Everything was fantastic. The people, the food, the facilities, the location. Part of the reason my stay in Chefchaouen was so magical was because of this hostel.

The bathrooms are never dry, and there is never toilet paper without asking. The rooms stink of smoke. The lobby area is full of friends of the owner and seems really uninviting. People hassle you on the street to go here, and if I had known that I would never have gone here and supported that practice.

There is nothing special at all about this place. It's not a riad. It's just a cheap place to sleep. I wasn't uncomfortable here at all, but other than being inexpensive and centrally located, there's no reason to recommend it.

Loved this place. So charming. I was sick while I was there and Hanafi was incredibly accommodating. The location is very easy to find, and in the heart of the medina. There was a discrepancy about the rate when I arrived, and they were helpful in resolving the issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hostel is in a great location, just a few meters from the main square. The staff was friendly at some moments and not at some others. If you are looking for the cheapest room it's no use to book online since they have a cheaper room that is not advertised. We asked to pay for the price they charge if you go directly to the hotel and they said no because that was a different room that we would not have liked, but they never gave us that option at the begining. I was very dissappointed at it.
