We really enjoyed it here, the location is excellent, and only a few minutes around the corner to the old town. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we even got a bottle of champagne and some home made biscuits as a christmas present! So nice! We would definately recommend this as a place to stay, and would stay here again in the future.

Easy walk to the train station and all the main sights. Cleanliness is so-so, if you're a clean freak it might not be for you. Security is good, you must got through three locks to get in your room, one of them is a large metal gate. Didn't give it an excellent because the lockers are kind of flimsy and there isn't 24hr reception. Expect to have to deal with screaming drunks in the middle of the night. It you leave early there's no reception, make sure to undo deadbolt before you drop key.

The room was nice regarding that the building is old, but it was a bit cold. The staff was very nice and helpful! They offered us a great service. The location is perfect! The best you can ever ask for. The only bad side is that the towels are not well washed, they are gray because of this. It would have been nice to have some fresh clean towels.

Location, location, location!!!! I've stayed in this place previously and I will again when i go to Prague. This place is literary in the middle of everything, you can walk everywhere. And the rooms are very cozy and clean, stuff is very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Beds were a little bit uncomfortable....................................but that could have just been me being used to my mattress at home

The 6 bed Room is a bit disappointing. it has their own shower BUT nobody cleans nothing, spoons forks glass plates fridges... Neither clean the room or the shower but the LOCATION is amazingly GREAT!!!!

Pension Tara is located as good as it gets - in a street wich is lively during daytime, but quiet at night! Very friendly staff helped us with maps and direction. It's cheap, but still central, secure and clean!

There is a great deal of noise from the staircase (other residents) - perhaps it would be possible to put a double door in or something? A couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels/clothes would be very useful. Really, the staff were so nice!!

the room in the second floor which face the street is very big for 3 people. It can fit up to 6 people ! The room is clean. the staff is very helpful. recommend for every one who want to stay at Praha. easy to find, very close to the old town. close to tesco for shop your own food. street market is in front of the hostel.

The dorm room was simple but very spacious, basic but clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The location was excellent and the restaurant downstairs offered great discounted meals. We would recommend this hostel to everyone due to it's price, location and helpful staff. Thank you for a great stay!

Brilliant hostel, very central, nice and clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful.

At a first glance the room looks quite run down. But it is very clean, has a kettle, fridge, cutlery, crockey and an ensuite. Definately worth the money if you are looking for a cheap and central place to stay in Prague. The staff were amazing helping us to carry our luggage up the stairs. Plus we loved our crazy American Mum's we met in the room :)

Hostel is right in the downtown of Prague, you reach the Old Town Square in less than a minute. It is basic but clean, comfotable, secure, you get also 20 % discount to the restaurant down at the hostel. Staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely come back again.

I stayed only one night so I did not have much time to see all prague. So I really appreciated the location of pension Tara. I would definitelly recommend you this place. Location + budget price + staff - I´ve no complaint !!

Excellent hostel. The staff made it what it was. I'd definitely consider it for my next trip to Prague and would recommend it to others as well.

This is not a real hostel, it is rather a pension, no bench beds, no loby, a place to sleep, poor but cheap. The staff of the reception is nice and you can stay there anytime.
