Miguel, his dog Mila and friend are some are the most friendly and accommodating people that I have met. They were helpful, funny, approachable and always around whenever I needed help or information. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean as is the whole hostal. If you are looking for the whole Andalucian/Spanish experience then this is perfect. The building is of a traditional, rustic design much resembling the cities history and is in a prime location next to the famous castle, beach and centre

I stayed for 3 nights in the middle of December. The position was very good in the middle of the old city and close to the beach. My single room number 11 was large with a cold water sink and a wardrobe. The bed needs a new a mattress. The room had no heating and was cold 8c at night. The showers were cold. The hostel is very old fashion but it does have charm. The owner is friendly and he has a nice dog. It has a lovely courtyard and a OK kitchen. A good place to stay in the summer!

Very loose and poor responsibility from owner. No hot water in the morning, nobody left in charge to deal with any matters. Accommodation basic, asked for double room got two single beds. Advice do not go there. I wondered how the man had got a license.
