Compared to the fortune that you would pay for a hotel in the centre of Karlovy Vary, this hostel serves its purpose if you just want a decent place to sleep and don\'t mind walking about 20 minutes to get to the centre. We felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Overall we were very pleased. The staff was very nice!

You get what you pay for. Distance from town is as stated, though it would be useful if the website told you could also take the no. 12 bus. Directions given are for driving and there are more pleasant roads to walk along. Apartment style rooms, not dormitorys, old and in need of decoration but adequate. The best part is that it's oppostie a supermarket and a very nice and cheap bar/restaurant.

Wifi is only accessible in the 'lobby' on ground floor. Staff is inside the next building (not part of the hostel) during office hours only. Can only contact staff through telephone outside office hours and there is no telephone in the hostel. Location is far from city center (10-15 mins bus) and hard to find as well. To be honest, it's quite scary to us since we are the only guests there. Only cons is it relatively low price.
