It's a good place to stay, the rooms and the bathroom were clean and of good size. It has a good ubication, with only taking one bus from the main station or city center you can get to the pension. Totally recommended

It's more like a hotel room than anything. It's just out of the downtown core but still in a fairly nice area with a lot more character. The hotel is located above a really nice cafe which makes good food and coffees. Breakfast not included, but have free wifi. I would go back there again if I end up in Zurich on another short-term trip. GREAT value for what you get!

The cafe downstairs and the hostel itself is run by very friendly and cool staff. The cafe served great breakfast and drinks (as extra costs) and was busy and happy. The rooms were big and clean. And only 3 rooms shared each bathroom, each level of the hostel was self contained which meant you only had to share the bathroom with a few others. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.

It's not a hostel but a guesthouse/pension. Has a nice bar/pub. It's not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Zurich ...

Extremely creaky floors are extremely bad for sleeping. Not to mention the thuds of footsteps from the people above. My recommendation to the owner- get some classy industrial grade carpet with some pad underneath and cover all the hardwood. Then, customers would come back.

very nice modern decor and great bar downstairs for drinks or breakfast. breakfast, the full one is expensive although there is a great deal to choose from. location is easy to reach by tram from the trainstation.

The internet connection was bad, I couldn't use the internet while I was staying there. Also outside was noisy in the middle of the night, as the young people were standing outside chatting very loudly so sometimes it was hard to sleep. But the staffs were ok, the food was good, and the facilities were clean.

Very noisy because of the wooden floor, because the toilet is ouside of bedroom, thus, much noisy if ppl go out for toilet or open the door.

Clean, great location, above a bar with decent food and music. Somehow, they had me booked the day before my arrival, but were very nice and accommodating, finding a room and changing the booking without giving me a hard time at all.

I loved this place! It's above a really cool cafe/bar, and the rooms all have double beds and are stylish and clean. It was worth the extra money to stay in a nicer place than the typical hostel to get a break from sleeping in bunk beds. My only complaints: this place is in a very cool part of Zurich where there are more young locals and nightlife, but is not as close to many of the tourist attractions. Also, it is really loud in the rooms on the first floor when there's live music at the cafe.

Just a pleasant place to stay, nice room with cinema seats and a WW11 searchlight! Probably the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on

Located quite close to Langstrasse, a bit further from the old town. The room was really good. Very clean. The reception was in the cafeteria below. Couldn't spend much time here so difficult to say abt. other travellers, athmosphere, or services (laundry etc). Value was OK considering Swiss/Zurich prices.
