This is definitely the best hostel in Yerevan. Clean, extremely friendly staff, and a cool common area where I've met some interesting people, a few of whom I'm still in touch with. Also, the owners (Arthur and his wife) are super friendly and always around. When I stayed, he brought a bottle of local cognac for the guests, told us a bit about its history, and joined everyone for a drink. In general, the place has a really comfortable, and relaxed vibe. It's like a home away from home.

The review for this place are very positive and I would say deservedly so. It's rather a special place and manages to combine the pluses of a homestay (hospitality, contact with locals and their knowledge), with the vibe of hostel (good and constant passage of interesting travellers). It's a great place to hang out in the evenings. The staff are without exception all super friendly, knowledgable and mindful to the needs of travellers. Many people extend their stay here. A great find!

The staff were warm and welcoming. The owners even invited us to a nice Jazz club with them. You have to climb quite a few stairs but the view of Mt Ararat is worth it.

Penthouse hostel is a great place to stay! The girls on staff are extremely helpful and nice. The location is good, and they offer many suggestions for how to spend your time, as well as the sights to see. They helped me arrange taxis for the day trips I wanted to make, and they will even order food to be delivered to the hostel for you! There is a very nice common room with TV, and couches. Breakfast is served each day, and is different as well. Facilities are clean too! Recommended!

The staffs are really friendly and helpful. With great hospitality, they make a cozy and homy atmosphere. The facility is pretty good, Common area is clean and really comfortable. Good location. It's 10 minute walk from Opera. Restaurants, super markets and money exchange are also close by. Arthur, the hostel's owner can help you with lots of information about Yerevan and other cities. Thanks for the great time. Wanna come back again;)

The Penthouse Hostel felt like home, and more! Arthur, the hostel owner, and his family made our stay as pleasant as one could just wish for. Not only that the rooms very really comfortable and the staff was always very helpful, we also got invited to Arthur's home where they offered us a huge Armenian dinner and many stories! It was a really good time! Thank you Penthouse Hostel, thank you Arthur!
