Staffs are very helpfull, also they recomend you the best tours to do in Cape Town, Hostel it's clean. I had a fab time staying at Penthouse. The staff were lovely and welcoming, which was important as I was solo. I had the most amazing experiences in Cape Town. In general, the hostel is very good. Cleanliness was not the best because somebody slept in our beds before (there were hair in the pillow) and they didn't change the sheets.
Another suggestion is that they must give a better information about the touristic places. We went two times to the Table Mountain because they said to us that the cable car was open and it didn't. So, if they don't know, it would be better to say that and not to give a wrong information. In general, the hostel is very good. Had a great time overall and the staff were wonderful! Big props to Chris at the front desk who helped me figure out my entire stays' activities, especially with the weather constraint. The fire poi lesson on my last nite rocked! Also, excellent rooftop bar. Bruce was a great host upstairs and made it feel like home away from home. Definitely would recommend this place to others. The only suggestion I have is to maybe do more group activities for single travelers.Had a great time overall and the staff were wonderful! The staff, location, facilities and general vibe was great. But, we were in a twin room and for the price, R400, it was far too noisy. Our room door was less than 2 metres from the kitchen and the noise went till late and started early. Apart from that the place was great, and I suspect all the other rooms were much more quiet.The staff, location, facilities and general vibe was great.
