Great place even out of season. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, good cheap breakfasts, dinners, and beers. Bus stops right out front or walk 12 minutes to Stary Smokovec TEZ train station.

Everything was nice, especially the owner brother and sister - very helpful! It's more of a pension than a youth hostel though, so do not expect things like partying and loud talking in the common area too much. Anyway we like quiet, so it was great :)

We stayed Jan 2012 to ski. Pension is 2 min walk from free ski bus, train and Intersport rental shop (Intersport had v. good equipment + prices, I thought). 10-15 min walk to restaurants etc in Stary Smokovec. Proprietors were helpful + breakfast was good for 3 euro. Would recommend.
