Guesthouse is located just off the main chewang road but slightly outside the busy centre. Around a 15 minute walk to central chewang. Guesthouse is extremely clean and really nice rooms. Have stayed here 3 times in past few years and Penzy is such a good host. Penzy is really helpful with any requests such as trips, laundry, transport etc. Really reccommend this hostel for those that want to be near central chewang but away from any noise. About a 2 minute walk to chewang beach
People are really nice! Penzy helps you with everything. The rooms and beds are perfect.
Staff were great, Penzy and other woman working there were very helpful. 5 mins from beach, 25 mins walking to party zone. Nice, quiet, clean place. Price was a bit high as there were many other hostels nearby for much cheaper (800 vs 1300 for air conditioning). Would highly recommend Potts guesthouse restaurant to eat, 5 mins to the right on the main strip across the street from a place called Rose and Crown. It was the best and cheapest Thai food we had on the trip - went back 4 times!
Staff at Penzy's are all very helpful and nice people. Hostel is kept very clean, rooms are cleaned everyday. Penzy can get discounts on tours so just ask. You can rent a scooter from them too. Penzy's is just off the main road so quiet for sleeping but really close the beach and bar's/restaurants. All the usual things you need are nearby. You can rent a beach towel from them too but we had bought some. We found most of the good food places were 20 minute walk down the road. We recommend :)
The staff at penzy were extremely helpful! I was very comfortable staying there. Place was very clean and there was plenty of hot water!! Overall an excellent stay!

The staff is very nice and helpful, the guesthouse is not far away from the beach. But we learned that you should never travel to Ko Samui in November during the rainy season. It was raining the whole days and there was nothing that we could do.
Extremely nice and friendly team. Good location in a quiet sidestreet, but very near to the beach and quite near to everything of interest in Chaweng. Big rooms with balcony and equipped with everything. Highly recommended!
The owners are fantastic. Very kind, and thoughtful. They offer much needed advice and are helpful I planning and organizing travel arrangements. The hodtel its self is as expected for the price and the islands life style. I'm accustomed to more generous interior design as this is extremely basic. If you have a hurt leg do that stay here as the stairs are steep and the hostel has many floors. No food in the room or you will attract ants!
Clean, comfortable with free wifi in the rooms. Staff were excellent.

We loved this guesthouse. Penzy and her staff were excellent. It was a 15-20 minute walk from the main nightlife but there was still many places to eat nearby.
This Guesthouse is good for couples and not party goer's as it is pretty quite altho i was here in low season, the staff are really friendly and will help with everything, we stayed in room one which has a ensuite bathroom and toilet also with a balcony if u smoke, the location is just off the main rd but we hired mbikes from penzy at 200b a day which is good no problems either, all in all nice stay and would return again if in koh samui again
This is a nice guesthouse - it's a nice relief from the busy mainstream, my bf and myself took a private room and it was very relaxing. Penzy is really nice and helpful and the beach is quite close. One of the best guesthouses on the island.
