Lovely guesthouse, lovely staff. So friendly, no complaints at all.

Great place great hosts. Also close to beach and walking distance to the bars or shopping. But id rent a bike and see the whole island for a day

We had a decent stay at Penzy's Guesthouse. The room was great and clean, and the location is very good! We where there on Songkran and the emails beforehand from Penzy where really nice. The only let down we had was because of the bus we ordered through her. I know it was Songkran so maybe they had an off day but the bus was old and dated. Not only that they left us at the pier and only came back once a customer told them we where missing. We would stay here again.

I extended my day at penzys for 5 more nights after staying for two, est place I've state at all trip. Make sure to check out cabana beach house for chill tunes and cool people

Penzi s really nice, she intoduced her selves and was behind every thing we need. All very clean, quiet, near the beach, 10 minutes walk from the city center

Overall very satisfied with our stay at Penzy Guesthouse. Our room was cute. We had a comfortable bed, tv, air conditioner, balcony, safe deposit box, etc. It was very clean + the staff changed our towels everyday. The overall character and atmosphere of Penzy is pretty average unless you're making your stay a romantic getaway. Penzy (the owner) is very friendly + helped us plan our activities/rent a motorbike. She set up our arrangements to + from the Full Moon Party. Everything was perfect.

Penzy and her husband are immensely helpful in planning activities and getting to the Full Moon Party. They both speak English (they lived in US before moving to Thailand). Both the day trip and the Full Moon Party accommodations Penzy provided made our stay amazing! The facilities are what you would expect for for the price.

This is one of the best guesthouse that I have stay in my trip. The room where amazing with everything we need and the staff was marvelous! The guesthouse was just 1 minute walking to the beautiful chaweng beach and 10 seconds to the beach road, where you can find a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff help us with the booking to our next stage of the trip (the beautiful Koh Phanang). Thank you Penzy for everthing!

Good hostel, great staff. Near the beach but a real hike (20 minutes-ish) to get to the main nightlife on the strip. If this doesn't bother you def recommend.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but the location is a bit out of the way from the main strip.

Perfect location, staff are very helpful, chilled atmosphere, would stay here again, only fault was the steep stairs, no lifts, only a problem when your carrying heavy baggage up to the third floor, overall very good.

We had a great time here! David, Penzy and Anna-Banana were so helpful and always available when we needed anything. They helped us book trips and gave us lots of useful information. The room was really comfortable and clean. The free dvds at reception was a nice touch as we could watch stuff in our rooms when we were feeling lazy. The location is good, nice restaurants, markets etc within walking distance and the centre of Chaweng is pretty close too. Met some really nice people too.

The staff were so friendly and happy to help with everything we needed including booking a tour for us at a discount! They were really helpful. This is a great place to stay for the money and is pretty close to the beach and a lot of restaurants.

Located about a 20 minute walk from the party-centre in Chaweng, and about 5 minutes from the beach, this is a good spot if you want access to the nightlife without being swamped by it. The hostel is perfectly clean, with everything one could wish for (fast wi-fi, cable TV channels, good DVD collection). The staff are friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. A very relaxing stay, and a most enjoyable Christmas.
