This hostel is great! It is new and clean, with friendly staff. The location is just outside the city centre, but this is good; there are cheap restaurants and supermarkets nearby. At 3 minutes from the train/bus-station the location is great to catch a bus to explore the sights. The only down-sides: There are only two showers (1male/1female), with either very hot or very cold water, not comfortable. There is no secure luggage deposit for your bag after check-out.

The bathrooms were smelly, and the air in the building felt stagnant. There is only one bathroom per male/female, which made it feel crowded, and it was noisey. Breakfast was late and poor quality, and not enough coffee to go around. No 24 hour reception. Internet was down for our stay. The location was the best thing the hostel had to offer.

Not easy to find and not in downtown Sintra. However, this is a new and very clean hostel. Furniture is all Ikea.
