this hostel was one of my favorite hostels in my trip to europe.! friendly staffs, good atmosphere in common room, free computer, nice kitchen facilities, breakfast buffet, individual lights beside each bed.. the only down side of the hostel is the location, which is quite far from the city center. however Belem has many important attractions and its easy to see them from the hostel. also it is quiet and beautiful neighbor near the riverside so its not too bad actually.

Area: Good area and easy to get to also felt very safe Price: Decent price but there are better prices in Lisbon for Hostels Room: Very small and no Air conditioning but clean Staff: Friendly and welcoming Cleanliness: Really needs improving, the womans bathroom was so bad I couldn't use it to shower in! Negatives: Didn't sleep at all at night because the walls are so thin you hear everything going on inside the hostel and many loud drunk people that the staff didn't ask to quiet down

positive: price is good, excellent garden, good atmosphere negative: having to stand in sewage H2O while taking shower, staff should not make issue about customers needing to use toilet on second floor.. customers and employees are all "People" and everybody is equally.

Very helpful staff. Clean and neat place with everything necessary, clean beds, good shared kitchen, shared shower and W.C. And a common room as well. Breakfast is included which only improves the experience of this lovely place that is really close to beautiful landmarks. I definitely recommend this place.

Great price and great staff! Comfortable bedding and nice atmosphere. However, it was very messy. Lockers were not available for all the guests. Hostel might consider removing the absolutely terrifying metal statue in the entrance hallway.

Besides the great conditions at a low price (good breakfast, daily lady cleaning,a garden to chill out, etc), I must say that after one month staying there I wasn't feeling like going out. The location is also great, excellent for sightseeing, to visit monuments or just walk along the river. And they've got the best staff ever :)

A nice hostel....a bit boring as there is not a great common room for everyone to hang out in. There is a well equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The hostel is clean and well run. The prices are also very cheap compared to other places of similar great quality.

Nice hostel in a nice area. The beds, sheets and linen were clean, which is the most important thing for me. The bathroom could be cleaner (and bigger), but for such a cheap price it's definitely ok. Nice staff and kids are welcome => very good value for your money!

It was a very beautiful hostel, and very very well located, the staff was awesome!!! They have a nice kitchen you can use too, but the bathrooms were always durty and no toilet papers in, no soup to wash our hands too.The breakfast was ok. The bedroom was sooooo small!!! And next to the hall, so it was very noisy!!! I would not come back.

If you're lookin for something a bit quieter and out of the main city centre this is a good option. It's nice and quiet and close to a picnic worthy park and of course the most excellent pastries, but it is a good 10-15 minutes from the centre of town so you've always got to factor that into your planning. The other downside was the very small bathroom with only 2 toilets and showers to serve all females staying and got very crowded, and there never seemed to be toilet paper in the toilets.

Our stay in this hostel was unforgettable! Everybody was very nice and there were always people there to talk and hang out. The location is one of the bests in Lisbon because it is half an hour from the city center and right next to the monastery of Belem! We really enjoyed it!

Such a nice staff! I got in late and they brought me some food because I was hungry. Somewhat of a hipster feel. Good design. Great for college kids on a break! Near the castle on the water and the monestary. City center is a little far. Cab to the airport is only 12 euro so take that! Metro takes forever.

In general the hostel is not bad: the only thing that's not so good it's the bathrrom. There are few showers and toilets (only 2 showers for the guys and 2 for the girls - to all the hostel!) and you have no privacy in the bathroom, as the shower's and toilet's cabins are made by glass... On the other hand, the staff is very helpful and nice!

Very good hostel! All point are good, except a location, a bit far from city centre. But if you like to stay in east part of Lisbon, called as Belem, then this hostel the best!

Probably the coolest hostel ever. The guys there are great, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and they also offer a rich breakfeast. They should just change those bath's doors - they are made of frosted glass and it's kind of embarrassing :-p And it's kind of far from the center, althoug you can eaasily reach there and it's just side by side to the Mosteiro dos Jerônimos and the Pastel de Belém store. Totally recommend it!
