I have rated the facilities as poor because of the lack of toilets and showers. The main showers for men weren't available so there were only two for a medium size hostel. I had to wait over twenty minutes for a bathroom. There was no explanation on the door as to what the problems were. Also having to rent towels when you pay for a private room is not good. I haven't had to do that before. The stafff were very helpful and the hostel has a good outdoor area but managers need to do better.

I think the location is not very good. However, the neighborhood was very quiet. In addition, the hostel is very close from 'Pasteis de Belem'. And the atmosphere is very quiet. I didn't have any inconvenience during stayed here. 리ìS¤ë³¸ ì<oe가지ëz' 거리가 ë-¨ì-´ì ¸ìz^ì-´ ìoe"치ëS" ê·¸ë<¥ ì¢<지 ì•SìSµë<^ë<¤ë§OE, 걸ì-´ì"oe 5ë¶"거리ì- 리ìS¤ë³¸ì-ì"oe ê°€ìz¥ ìoe ëª…í•oe ì-ê·¸íf€ë¥´íS¸ íOEOEëS" 곳이 ìz^ìSµë<^ë<¤. 거리가 ê°€ê¹OEì>OE ì•"침 일찍이ë'˜, 저녁 ëS¦ê²OE 걸ì-´ê°€ì<oeë©´ ì¤"ì" ì"oe지 ì•

It's a good hostel. However, the rooms are really small. Also, they are reforming, and at 9am there was too much noise!!!

Located a little far away from the centre for my liking, although buses were frequent. Staff were very helpful. Lack of any organised social events made it harder to meet other travellers

The bathrooms would flood if a bunch of people took a shower at the same time, and only one of the toilets was working out of the two available. But other than that they were awesome. The workers were amazing and really nice.

Uncomfortable beds, and everyone has to buzz themselves in, so you wake up from the buzzer in the middle of the night. The bathroom is also one giant shared one with 3 showers, 2 sinks, and 2 toilets (though one toilet was out of order and the other's door didn't even close!). Girls would shower without closing the doors and the floor would be soaking wet. Also, the hostel is fairly far from the "center" -- it's near a lot of museums but if you just want to walk around the downtown area it's far

We stayed at People Hostel in Portugal April 2012. Ricardo (manager) was a delight - friendly, helpful and completely available for any query we had. The hostel was relaxed with lovely decor. I would confidently recommend it.

People Hostel was a comfortable stay for us. We stayed in a double room and the bed was very nice with a lovely view of the garden. The staff = helpful and the amenities=excellent. There were two small and negligible downsides which I feel obligated to mention because they might have influenced my decision to book. The hostel is in Belem which is close to but not IN Lisbon city center. And there is no age limit, expect both small children and adults. NOT a party hostel but still a great stay!!!

People Hostel was a sick hostel. All the staff we're really nice and helpful, and the rooms were great. Everything really clean. Belem is a really cool part of town and only a short bus ride into Lisbon city. There's nice places to eat and touristy things to see there. Definitely recommend this hostel.

THe hostel was ok with very friendly staff, clean and nice facilities. The main drawback that I see its is location. It's by monastery dos Jeronimos in Belelm, which is a must see monument in Lisbon, the problem is that at night the area is absolutely dead and most sightseeing is done in central Lisbon. The good thing is that the ares is quite calm and if you came by car you can easily park it in front of the hostel. Taxis to the centre are about 6-8 euros and take around 10-15 minutes.

This hostel is one of the best I have ever visited. The decoration is great and the staff is really friendly. It is perfectly located - just a few steps from the Monastery in Belém. The breakfast is also nice. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Staff was very helpfull. Location is great and the Hostel has everything you might need for a weekend off. The place has a nice character and the price is nothing comparing to what they have to offer you. I absolutely recommend it.

Atmosphere, staff and location is fine, but it is completely unacceptable that is not possible to lock any toilet doors! 2 out of 3 showers were not working. Hostel is very noisy during night, even though people try to be quiet if they come home late or leave early. You hear any noise, every step, any door very clearly through paperthin walls.

Well to start, i had called them asking for a bed for a couple and there on the day of check in wasn't that we asked. The bathrooms (men); had three showers, but two of them were broke. Two toilets where the doors couldn't be locked like the door of the bathroom. The woman one where most of the time dirty, with hairs and papers everywhere. The facilities have some problems of structure like infiltrations and other little things. I would prefer ofc pay much more just for better conditions.

It's a good hostel, not excellent I would say. Good point is that there is a fully equipped kitchen that is available to everyone for free. A shortcoming was the men's bathroom that had just 1 shower working out of three
