About Pep & Jo's Amazon Bed and Breakfast
We are a small exclusive and discreet bed and breakfast located in the Amazon River port city of Itacoatiara. The city is located approximately 2 ? hours east of Manaus, the capital of the state of Amazonas. Itacoatiara is a typical small Amazon port city. It is surrounded by jungle on 3 sides and the river borders the fourth. Lakes, swamps, jungle walks, boat trips, fishing and more can all easily arranged. We offer designer packages to small groups of no more than 6 people. (We can arrange for more if needed)
Pep and Jo?s has three rooms available; one back guest house and two rooms in the main house. All rooms are air conditioned and have their own bathroom facilities. We have double beds in all of the rooms but single beds can be substituted. And hammock hooks are available in each room and outside as well.
There is BBQ/Relaxation patio out back with a garden shower for those really hot days. We have upper and lower decks in front of the house for overseeing sunsets or relaxing with a cool caiprahina. And the entire house has areas where you can throw up a hammock and just hang out enjoying the breeze off the river after your day?s adventure.
Our upper deck room has a good library of music and DVD?s, satellite TV with CNN, FOX, BBC, movie channels and more: internet access is available. A fax and copier are available as well.
