We are surprised at your comments re the hostel, looking at the booking sheets, you were not the first in that room, the lady who had checked in first has stayed here previously, has a propensity to put her gear on unused beds whilst sorting out here bags, the hair possibly was from an item of her clothing, as that morning everyone checked out and all those beds were made with fresh linen, however if you had come and seen us at the time we would have changed the linen , cant fix it if not told.

Owner stayed up for us to check us in late and did all he could to try and find the charger I left in the room. There were a lot of flies in the bathroom though, and two of my roomates had bedbugs in their beds.

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay

Fabulous hostel. We are a couple in our 50's traveling with our 18 year old son and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Really great kitchen and common area and lots of available barbecues. The owner is terrific and great with the younger residents, teaching them how to barbeque and cook more than noodles. One of the best places we have stayed.

glad you enjoyed your stay

Super comfy beds. Really clean hostel, run by a very professional team. Really liked the layout of the kitchen, dining and TV room which integrate into each other. Then upstairs there is a 'lounge room' which is an excellent feature.

Great hostel. Really clean with friendly staff. Comfy beds, nice big lounge and kitchen with free tea and coffee as well as spices! Wi-fi not free but public library has free wifi outside. Free. Bikes and kayaks! Loved my stay here very peaceful and relaxing.
