Having been to a number of hostels in Paris either with family or groups this one stands out for helpfullness of staff, quality of room and location. Our private triple room was perfect for two, bathroom good just like the French breakfast (you can get a fill up on coffee and more baguette if you like). IThere are "travaux" going on during the day and water is blocked for a while but you tend to use the room for a short night's sleep only anyway when in Paris so practice tolerance and enjoy.

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff and good location. Toilet didn't have a sink and they were redecorating the place, but still a good place to sleep with breakfast. Would recommend this place for backpackers

A beautiful hostel and Chantal on reception was very helpful and friendly despite being very busy. the rooms were clean, well presented and the breakfast was good. On the down side, the bathrooms were too small and had no sink. There wasn't really a communal area to relax away from the bedrooms or use wifi or make phone calls. The night porter was exceptionally rude. He seemed to find every request and mere presence of guests an inconvenience and kept locking people out.

the only sink is in the room, there's no sink in toilet which is really strange and inconvenient. no kitchen but they have a microwave and kettle and tableware which is really nice. Nice neighbourhood, close to metro.

This hostel, while in a good location, did not leave me with a good experience. To start off with, there is no atmosphere or place to hang out here, so if you're traveling alone you'll most likely stay that way. Not great for younger travelers. Small crowded rooms, but excellent wifi. There was construction going on 24/7 outside my room which was annoying. But beautiful neighborhood with lots to do around.

beds very uncomfortable with squeaky frames. WiFi good. staff spoke very poor English and not helpful at all. close to a metro stop, metro pretty much needed to get to major sights

Even though the hostel was not in the centre of Paris I was happy with the location, was close to the metro so easy to access the main tourist attractions. It was very close to the sacre coure, which is beautiful to visit. Staff were fine however could have been more friendly. Not much atmosphere in the hostel as they did not have a common room as such. The breakfast was a nice added bonus.

Rooms were great! Shared shower old and could use some work but overall a great stay for the cost - great staff, great location, we really enjoyed it!

It's a very nice hostel in a great place. I was lucky to be in a front room, with a pleasent view. I got really impressed by the cleanness comparing tô another hostels in Paris, but it's not cool that aren't sinks in the toilets only in rooms.

Very nice man at the reception desk, complimented our British-ness and we more or less thrive off that. Very nice cosy room, certainly better than expected considering the price. Good job. Also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast.

It was a great stay for one night. The Staff were friendly, the beds were comfy, and a Bottle Shop is just around the corner. The staff spoke English which helped. But more importantly, the staff were friendly and hospitable. Thanks for your hospitality!

The location is very appropriate such that you do not have to take any bus or metro; rather, walking does not take much time. Besides, the best way to explore a city/culture is possible by walking according to me. The breakfast is free. There is an old guy that serves the breakfast. It includes a baget, a chocolate dough, butter, jam, coffee(with milk if demanded) and orange juice. You may feel that the breakfast is not very satisfying. You may buy also fruits from groceries around.

Very clean, great staff, and a decent breakfast. The hostel was close to the metro, which makes the location good.

Very nice staff and facilities. Good location. Only 5 minutes walk to metro that can take you anywhere.

The beds are too hard, pillow as well. Thin walls, but earpluggs works. Breakfast too crowded. There is no common room to relax on a couch or so ever. Location is fine, only 15 minutes walk from gare du nord.

Room pictures on website are not real. They are renovating, but most of private rooms aren´t finish yet (as shown on the pictures), but still you have to pay full price. They didn´t even ofer discount. Location is great!

Lovely place. Work going on whilst we were there, meaning there was some disruption, however, it has to be done at some point, and it would disturb someone else's trip if not ours, so it was fine! Only really affected the elevator. The hostel itself was lovely; a generous size, a sink in the bedroom and very clean. A lovely place to begin our trip. Quite far out, but it just let us see more of Paris as we walked to our final destination. Breakfast of bread and croissants was included :)

The hostel was average. I find with Paris, you really don't get what you pay for. For most people, the locations wouldn't be wonderful, but I thought it was interesting to stay outside of the main districts. Average hostel.

Wonderful hostel, where the private rooms are better than some hotels I've stayed at. Exceptionally good value for money, with free wi-fi and breakfast and walking distance to two metro stops.
