It is only walking distance to the ancient ruins of Greece, but it is in a Getto area.

We stayed in two other places while in Athens and this was by far the best our twin room was small but it was beautifully cleaned everyday. The free breakfast was great...make a point of saying hello to the server she is lovely. The staff were very helpful and free computers always worked. Yes the area isn't good first time in my life I have seen people injecting themselves in the street at 9am. The local shop were dealing with a shop lifter while we there. Lots of police about so felt safe

The hotel is located in a non friendly area, but in spite of it it's easy to reach the metro, allowing us to go everywhere we want in Athens. It's offered computers in the hall and wi-fi in the room (not that good, but enough). The room was clean, and there were hot water always, modern TV and little fridge. The breakfast was poor, but for the price was ok. The staff was amazing!

We had a very nice welcome in Pergamos hotel! Only thing we missed was a water bolier for making tea in the room.

The hostel is 25 minutes walking distance from the Athens Old Town so it is not too near. Our room was stinking cigarettes.

Close to one of the bigger museums and great food places surround it. The area does seem a little sketchy at first, but it's pretty normal when compared to the rest of the area. They will clean your room without you asking which is confusing. The only thing I did not like was the set up of the bathroom. The shower got water EVERYWHERE and the toilet and sink were very close together. (I could sit on the toilet and put my face on the sink)

Excellent value for money...Not so far from the city center with good rooms and normal brekafast. Though building with old lifts system looks old but its got all the facilities in the room and worthy..

The staff was really nice and the rooms were really clean. Breakfast was good and consistent. One downside of the hotel, and of the whole town (Athens) is the lack of feeling secure walking at night in the differents regions of the town, like where the hotel is located. Many restaurants near the hotel and the metro is about 5-7 mins away by walking and the Acropole is maximum 20 mins away by walking. This hotel is a true value and I would recommend it to anyone.

simple rooms, tiny showers and toiletsm but otherwise clean. beds are very comfortable and in a quite location. Staff very helpfull..recomended!
