Periko's Youth Hostel Reviews

We stayed at Periko's and thought it was brilliant. Our ensuite room was in the newly renovated part of the building and was as good as most hotels I have stayed in. The location of the hostel is very good for going to eat in town and if you want to cook for yourself, the kitchen has all the bits you will need. . The staff are amazing. Nothing was too much hassle for them and so we had advice on day-trips, car hire, buses, restaurants, etc

A really freindly atmosphere. Great, well equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge space. Staff very helpful and freindly. There is lots to do in the area and the location of the hostel is excellent. Rooms have lots of character and have good lockers and bathroom (24h hotwater). Laundry service is very fast and effiecient especially. Enjoyed my stay alot and will be back again I am sure. Highly recomended.

We ended up staying one week at Periko's hostel, so that is an indication of how much we liked it. The staff was especially very good; very friendly , patient and accommodating, and with excellent advice on what to do in the area. I would highly recommend this hostel.

the sttuf are ok , good location; clean room. we didnt like that there was not enough light in the room. but the room is cute & the kitchen was excellent . we forgot somthing in the room sombody took it and the stuff didnt halp to find who did- maybe the lady who clean the room????

This was by far my favorite hostel that I´ve stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful and also really fun to get to know. The atmosphere was so fun because the hostel attracts such a large range of people, from young college students to married couples. I met so many wonderful people, and also the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were very clean and nice.

Great staff are what makes a hostel. ALL the staff at Periko's were positive and helpful. Thank you for that.

Ask for a quiet room... those facing the street are VERY loud with traffic all knight

Fantastic and very helpful staff! Arrived back a day early from a hike to find the hostel full and they found somewhere else for us to stay. No problems with cancelling the booking for the following night either. Also good breakfast with plenty of bread and cereal.

Excellent hostel with great kitchen dorms were good some mattresses could do with replacement only real complaint was breakfast is ordinary with only bread cold coffee and cereal.

Had a terrific time at Periko's! I highly recommend it!

The stafff was really friendly, they have a great barbaque and is really easy to get everywhere from the hostel

Best hostel out of 30. Great private double ensuite with big bed, very clean, great shower. Good location, free wifi, cosy place, helpful staff.
