Very cheap for a single room with bathroom (it's a student residency). Full equipped kitchen and a big Tesco Supermarket nearby (also a Pizzeria nearby). It's a bit far away from the city center and bus comes only every 30min. So basically if you have a car it's a good place to stay.
More than a hostel this is a College residence, so it does not have that "homely hostel feeling". Location is not ideal either, but it's not far from city center. Apart from that, the place is comfortable and clean, staff is nice and helpful. Definitely a good value for the money it costs. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay for some nights.
Clean, secure, great value for money. Very affordable for your own private, ensuite room. Only downside for me was that the buses didn't run from the train station to Perth College (where the hostel is) after 23:30 or so, so I had to take a cab...but if you arrive well before that, you won't have any problems.
Staff there is really friendly, cleanliness and the rooms itself were okay. Unfortunately the hostel is not that well situated. We weren't able to find it at first and searched for it about approximately half an hour.
