The hostel was a nice place to survive in the winter. A huge kitchen and warm rooms made this a very nice place. We checked-out almost 2 hours later, but it was no problem! Besides, the beer-tasting included a typical italian grandmother and delicious food and gave us a nice impression!

Very bad! It was dirty, didn't have hot water in the shower and was so cold and noisy that I couldn't sleep. Too expensive for the offered service.

hi, I am from Malaysia. I've great experience in Perugia.. I love the hostel very much.. The boss is a handsome and nice man. the staffs are very friendly..i can see the donkey, ducks, horse in the farm, very nice view. Although it is far away from the downtown, but it is very easy to get the bus to the town.

its great value for money, they give you a good breakfast and the place has a great atmosphere.its in the country but there's loads to do, like wine tasting, go to a chocolate factory or go on really nice walks. its a nice place to stay if you want a break from churches, but its only a 20 min bus trip from Perugia if you need your church fix!

Really awesome place to hang out and meet other travellers. There's plenty to see and do, like wine tasting and a chocolate factory visit. It is a great place to stay somewhere different than a city. The views are incredible. The staff are friendly and welcoming and Manuele, the owner is always keen to hear how you think they can improve. Bit scary arriving in the dark so try to avoid that if possible. I had a great stay.

Perugia Backpacker was exactly what we were looking for! It's a quiet escape from the big cities and is still to town. There is great public transport into the town and back which is 20mins by bus. There's heaps to do in Perugia and around the farm you can walk through lovely countryside to a winery nearby or visit the local chocolate factory. The staff are great! So friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is really relaxed and you can do whatever you please!

Fantastic hostel, beautiful location and a great atmosphere. We definitely recommend doing the winery visit as well! Also try not to travel on a Sunday as the bus service is very infrequent!

worst thing about this place is its location... its great if you have a car! if you dont, the bus is 30mins from the centre and stops at 21:15 then you have to walk 10mins from the bus stop and the road is dark at night ... apart from that this place is amazing and my friend and i highly recommend it =) the staff were friendly enough and had cooked potatoes for everyone =) breakfast is super and the vibe there is very peaceful =)

This is a lovely quiet little farmhouse in a beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is quite far away, but the buses run regularly, and it was nice to have some quiet after the hussle and bussle of Rome. Great value for money and very clean.

The place is absolutely breathtaking, and the farmhouse is really homey and unique. It is unlike any other hostel I have stayed in. The staff were pretty cool, and the owner and his girlfriend were so helpful and nice, they even took us to the local cherry festival. Thanks guys! . Definitely stay here for a one of a kind experience.

This was by far the strangest hostel I've stayed in. so desolate! I never got to see anyone from the italian family. the bathroom was dirty and there's nothing to do there. I wouldn't waste time staying there ever, especially so far out of town. I did not experience anything remotely close to what they describe.

I booked two nights and ended up staying four. This hostel is amazing. A totally unique experience in a world filled with noisy overcrowded hostels. If you want a party don't come here. But if you need a break from the mayhem and tourist hell that can be a number of Italian cities, this is your haven. Your a quick bus ride to the city but you feel like a world away. And if your there on a sunday be sure to get pasta making lessons from Grandma Rita. A true Italian experience!!

Had such a glorious stay 2 nights hereand wish I could've stayed longer. We had a car so it was about a 15-20 minute drive out of Perugia but there were also buses that ran to and from Perugia. We were happy to stay out of a town because the setting of the farm is gorgeous, and we loved being somewhere so relaxed where there were farm animals, a couple of dogs and lovely fruit and vegetables growing. The staff were helpful and very relaxed, and they often organise activities.

Lovely place and perfect for a relaxing few days away from hectic travel. Definitely the type of place you could end up staying at for weeks.
