We really enjoyed our stay at Petra Nera. They were very accommodating of our request for any early check-in. The price was very good, and the parting gift was delightful and very much appreciated! Overall, a very high likelihood that I'll be back!

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were absolutely amazing! Went out of their way to make our stay great. Very clean rooms that get cleaned daily with new towels. ATV/scooter rental places next door, 24 hour bakery and a super market across the street. Beautiful pool, super short walk down to Perissa beach(our favourite beach, crystal clean water compared to others) and the bus stop right outside. Wifi always worked, I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The hostel is at Perissa, far from Fira and Oia. But it is near the beach (you can go by foot) the supermarket and bakery. To go to the other places in the island, you can rent a motorcycle that is not so expensive. Our room wasn't the best one in the hotel, but it was big, clean and we had a good balcony to chill at night. The staff was nice, we were picked up at the port when we arrived, and they have a great swimming pool. I recommend!

I really enjoyed staying at the Petra Nera Hotel. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. However, I found it very far from a lot of the touristic sites and locations. Luckily my friend rented a car and would pick me up to get into Thira and Oia.

The hotel is in perissa and within walking distance of the beach. It has a pool which is awesome and the rooms are a good size with nice beds. they clean them everyday and the only problem we had with it was the weird smell in the bathroom. The guy and his father who run it are friendly.

Do not stay here if you are traveling alone. Otherwise the facilities were good and there is a sweet 24 hour bakery across the street!

This was a great little hotel - clean, friendly staff & excellent value. As long as you don't mind not being right on the beach (they have a pool anyways) and are okay not being in Fira (we actually preferred Perissa anyways), the Petra Nera Hotel is an excellent option when visiting Santorini.

Staying on the other side of the island is chilled, just hire some quads to explore Santorini properly. 5 min walk from a great beach and huge choice of restaurants. Across the road is the best bakery you will ever set foot in. Only in Greece can you get a hotel room for this price.

We enjoyed staying at Petra Nera Hostel. This accommodation is very well maintained. The staff is friendly and efficient yet unobtrusive. The breakfeast is varied and plentiful. Beautiful pool. Good place to advise.

We LOVED Petra Nera! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything and were comfortable. Great location to beaches and the bus-stop. Definitely stay in Petra Nera if you're visiting Santorini.

I would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is extremely beautiful! It has very nice rooms and a pool. The cost of the room also includes free breakfast and pick up and drop off at the port. The hotel is located near a grocery store, post office, and beach. The beach is about a 5 minute walk. The owner is extremely nice!

We had a wonderful stay at Petra Nera hotel. We were picked up with 9 other friends from the port in Santorini and taken directly to the hotel. We booked a double room but got a large room with a double bed, bunk beds, a small kitchenette and a courtyard. While we were in Santorini there was a power outage and our aircon did not work for 2 nights but staff managed to get water working which we were very grateful for. We were walking distance from the bus station, beach, restaurants and markets.

Very nice hotel, close to the beach and many nice restaurants. Side-to-side with a bus station that has buses to Fira and Oia. The hotel offers a great trip through the main attractions of Santorini and has a transport service to the airport at a fair price.

Very cute hotel with a good location only short distance from perissa beach. Close to supermarket too if your trying to save money. The host was very welcoming and let us only pay for half a night when we arrived at 3am. He also made us iced coffee in the morning. Was a pleasure to stay there and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the black beach. Has a great pool too!

Everything was nice and clean, one remarkable thing was the exceptional staff at Petra Nera! So nice and helpful!

Our room was very basic and wasn't properly cleaned when we got there. Floors were extremely dusty, the terrace was full of dry leaves with lots of lizards and other bugs. No toiletries, towels were too old. Breakfast was very expensive for what they offered, definitely not worth 5 euros per person. Furniture was too old and needs upgrading as well. Showers are too small. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The location was perfect, close to a four wheeler rental place and lots of resturants. The hotel is beautiful as well! Had a great stay!

The Petra Mera was a pleasant surprise. We had several beds in our room, but no roommates. You are removed from the party scene of Fira, but that's not always a bad thing. You have nearby access to bakeries, a grocery store, travel agents, and internet cafes. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable, but the language barrier can sometimes limit clear instructions (i.e. which ferry to catch at the port). All in all, we loved our stay and especially enjoyed our 24h access to the pool.
