Overall enjoyed the stay very friendly staff drove us to the airport. Beautiful pool and walking distance to black sand beach. Wifi didn't work in rooms but worked in lobby. Would stay here again.

We found the hostel to be pretty fantastic. The people were extremely inviting, and made our stay a pleasurepleasure. It is a 10 minute walk from the beach, right acrss the street from the grocery store and bakery which is open 24 hours. Pool is fantastic, and the rooms are very clean. The only issues we had was that they restrict swimming time to 11, which was disappointing, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable as it dipped right near the neck and gave us kinks that lasted days!

We had a great stay that began when the host picked us up from the airport at around 1:30 am. He is so friendly and attentive and I only have great things to say about his hospitality. The hotel sleeps as a hostel but it's as clean and nice as hostels get. The bathroom was basic and the shower is nothing special but again, it was good for a hostel and fine. Had air conditioning! The location is within a walk to the beach but a somewhat complicated and long (30-45 minutes away from the cities

This is a very basic, non luxury hotel. Like a super 8. Bathrooms are tiny & air conditioning & internet was spotty. But, the host is a fantastic person willing to help u in any way w/ cheap transport to & from port or airport. The location is fantastic if U like the beaches ( 5 min walk 2 great beach area's) but a 20 min drive to Fira or Oia where you see the beautiful pictures to bring you to Santorini. Also there is a good Bakery, super market, & scooter rental right next door. Good Pool

Stayed here with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Petra Nera! Rooms are basic but clean (cleaned daily and two towels provided each). The air conditioning worked great considering how hot it was outside. The pool was very clean too, and a nice place to chill out and sun bathe. The 24 hour bakery across the road was our favourite part! The location in Perissa is great too, easy to access the beach and restaurants.

The owner Giannis is really nice and welcoming! The pool was amazing and we really made the most of it (it's a long hot walk to the beach) and the lobby area is great with wifi and a computer so it's so easy to contact anyone you need to. There is a 24hr bakery and supermarket across the road which are really cheap and you can live off them. More than perfect for backpackers.

A great and chilled out location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pool is great,a and the supermarket and atm across the road, and places to rent atv's everywhere. The staff were great!!

The outside and lobby and pool area very nice, beautiful, and updated. The rooms, however, are a bit outdated and the beds are not super comfortable. The shower is pretty tight and small and the air conditioning doesn't blow very strong. However, the location and value of the hotel are awesome. There's a bus stop, bakery, and grocery store right outside. And the beach is a short walk away. Even though the rooms could use some updating, I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel had an amazing pool and great outdoor space to enjoy the sun. The staff were helpful in booking some excursions. The vibe of this place was very laid back and relaxing. One downside was that wifi was ONLY available in common area and was still spotty at best. Breakfast is an extra 7€ and wasn't really worth it... Nice bakery across the street! Our maid threw out our travel receipts... Mistook them for garbage. Overall, owner is very kind and helpful. Nice place to unwind! Thanks!

Nice place to stay. Good location in Perissa with a 10 minute or so walk down to Black Sand Beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Giannis, the hotel director, was more than helpful. So accomodating. Picked us up at the port upon arrival. The facilities were clean, comfortable and great location. Located directly next to the bus stop and within walking distance to the beach.

They were all SO nice! Great hostel if you're looking to spend a lot of time at the beach! It's very close to the black beach. It's about 30 minutes from Fira which is the city center. There is a 24 hour bakery and also a super market right across the street. There's also a bus stop right by there and two places to rent quads or scooters!! Our flight was after midnight so they let us leave our stuff during the day and even use the showers by the pool before we left. Great stay!!

Our stay here was wonderful! Gionnis was so sweet to us the entire time! He picked us up from the airport and even waited around for two hours while we tried to figure out what happened to our lost baggage. The next day we went out for the day and the airport called him and he picked it up for us no questions asked. The hostel is in a great location for perissa beach and the bakery and supermarket across the street are perfectly convenient. The pool at the hostel was nice too! I'd stay again!

Lovely little family run hostel, perfect for a night or two in Santorini. Five minutes from the beach and a bit of a trek into Fira, but it was never an issue. The staff are lovely and very kind, and even picked us up from the port at 1:00 AM. Gorgeous pool too. Rooms are basic but would definitely recommend.

Amazing value for money, at least in late June. We are a couple and we had a huge room with a bathroom and a balcony on our own, at a ridiculously low price for Santorini (14 euros per person). The room was clean and the balcony had a view towards the impressive Profitis Ilias mountain. Very good location, there is a supermarket right across the street and the beach is only 500 meters away. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room we originally booked wasn't given to us. Instead we were given an underground room with 5 beds (there was only two of us), the lights didn't work, the bathroom smelt of mould, none of the doors would close, there was spider webs all over the beds and walls, and security was very poor - anybody could enter your room. The owner offered another room but it was just as bad. We were happy for them to keep the deposit and the price of one nights stay, but he refused to give the rest back
