Liked it a lot! Great place for an even better price.
Security: There was always a man at the reception. There were 3 locked doors we had to pass to get to our room. Location: Not so far to the Metro (Museum, Mustek), quite close to the trams and buses (Vodickowa). Staff: Friendly. There was a calm atmosphere. Cleanliness: very good The only one thing I would improve is to change the room doors. Half of the door was made of glass. Our neighbours liked to spend their time in the kitchen and the light from the kitchen came to our room at night.
Good budget option near Wenceslas Square. Room was clean & comfortable. Nice having a kitchenette available for use just outside room.

We had a great stay at the hostel. It is very close to the city center, the rooms are amazing, great atmosphere, very clean and very spacious. Best hostel I have ever been! Enjoyed our stay a lot.
We had a very pleasant stay at Petrinska. This hostel is great place for couples. Excellent location in the centre of Prague, spatious and clean rooms, good beds which are made every morning, large shared bathroom with shower cabin, washing machine and separated toilet, kitchen with fridge, hair dryer at your disposal. Staff doesn't speak english and isn't very helpful. We didn't get wifi signal in our room wich was located on 3rd floor. Don't expect parties.
We stayed in the room 410 at 4th floor. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a kitchen with fridge for the 3 apartments and 2 shared bathrooms, only one with the shower. As other people said you can hear pretty well the talking and sounds from the next rooms because there are doors between the rooms, so if you are unlucky to have noisy neighbors, that could be a problem. Fortunately we had tranquil couples staying in the neighboring rooms. 15-20 min walk to the astronomical clock.
People kept leaving the front door to the apartment open, which was a little worrying, although potentially the fault of those staying there. We were also told we could leave our bags in the main office once we checked out, but turns out we had to leave in the downstairs lobby in the open with someone we had never met before. Was a little disappointing that the office staff didn't realize they wouldn't be there on a Saturday and give us a heads up. Apart from that, amazing place, very spacious.
Petrinska Hostel is more like a hotel - large, beautiful rooms with the incredibly comfortable beds and nice blankets. Three rooms open onto a hallway, onto which the bathroom and kitchen opens. People staying in neighboring rooms were friendly, but this is not a social hostel. Staff members were accommodating. This is a great value and the location is excellent.
If you need a place to stay it is a good option.
Very friendly staff in a great location.
This hostel seemed to be run by a family who were honest and nice. The walls here are quite thin so you might be able to hear the other guests depending on your luck as to who you have as your neighbors, luckily we didn't have very loud neighbors so it was quiet and nice. Also the hostel room had a kind of old baroque style to it which was spooky at first but eventually became enjoyable.
Sound proofing was poor, our room was merely separated by a thin wall from the room next door, we could hear whatever sound coming from the neighbouring room
I got a private room, but I was unlucky being nextdoor with people that drank all night long, made noise, smoke (all that was forbiden by the hostel rules). I had to call the security, but they didn't do much. I couldn't sleep that night. In the next day they changed me of room, then it was ok, without any noise . My adivice: stay in the 4th floor. In other floor you can have noisy neighboors. Clean rooms, the staaf was friendly. The hostel is a little bit difficult to find.
A youth hostel with all the services of a real hostel! Very clean, with large commodities ans cozy rooms. The linen is at your disposal. Towels are cleaned and the bed is made every day. The kitchen is very well furnished (really nice oven). There is also a bathtub in the bathroom! A really interesting place for this price! Nota : very suitable for couples, but less for group of friends or students. You must be quiet early.

We stayed in one of the apartments on the first floor. The rooms are simply amazing, but maybe not quite for a group of guys on a eurotrip. The rooms were something out of a 4/5* hotel, very surprising. 3 rooms share the apartment including kitchen, bathroom, shower and dining room - this wasn't an issue. The issue was how unbelievably quiet the place was, we felt like we had to whisper to each other!! Staff didn't speak much/any English, so not easy to communicate with. Great location!
The apartment was excellent. We arrived with four bikes which we stored in a secure garage and we were even able to use the washing machine to clean our dirty cycling clothes. Toilet and shower rooms are shared (as stated on website) but this was never an issue. The location is a little way from the main tourist centre but easily walkable. No negatives.
I have no complaints whatsoever and am very pleased that I chose this hostel.
