Very good hostel, they help you see the national parks of your own back without forcing tours upon you. Good place for meeting people.

After traveling to many hostels (and enjoying most) we walked into Pewman Che and had the bar raised. Mike (owner) has the hands on approach. He is the type of man who does not only give you directions but brief history on why. He comes from a truely organic place and I cannot tell you how comfortable you feel from the get. The house has tons of character and the community cook outs (esp the asada) end up with nights of good wine and good conversation. A def stay when in Cordoba.

Best Hostel I´ve stayed in so far, as another reviewer said it really is like Hotel California. Top staff too.

I had a great time here and have already recommended it to people. Mike was incredibly friendly and helpful, as were the other people that worked there. My one criticism was that people were allowed to smoke in the kitchen. I stayed in the double room at the back of the hostel which was lovely, which a good clean spacious bathroom.

This hostel is a bit like hotel California once you stay for 2 or 3 days its hard to leave. Its a good balance between chilling out parting and meeting fantastic people (including Mike the owner who will go out of his way to help you). It may not be the prettiest hostel I have stayed in South America, but it was the most enjoyable hostel experience I have had. Thanks Mike

que buena onda ! If you`re sick of the regular hostels and you`d like to spend some time in a place that feels like a proper home, this is it. Cozy place in the centro, regular asado nights and close to a lot of nice bars. Awesome (brazilian, argentine, mexican) staff. If you`re on a bike, there`s a safe parking spot (free). had a hard time leaving. cheers for the good times mike!

The rooms were very cramped and there was not enough lockers. Friday night BBQ was overpriced and overall unsatisfactory.

Hostel was nice, with a good room. Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time possible in the city - they were definitely the best aspect of the hostel.

Good value for money, given that it was really affordable. But we won't come back. The staff (who spoke english and french very well) was really nice and helpful (called a taxi, gave us some travel tips). Our room was clean on surface, but you don't want to put your clothes in the cupboard or on the table. Same with the bathroom but we were glad to have a ensuite bathroom. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel. We arrived early in the morning but we could go to our room which was very pleasant

Location pretty central, but hostel staff very unhelpful one of the staff could barely point out where things were on a map for me, he then explained that he was from colombia and was not familiar with the city. The 6 bed girls only dorm was extremely cramped, I had to squeez my lugage through the narrow space between the beds to get it in; and there was only one bathroom for everyone. They had some nice pastries for breakfast, but someone was playing heavy metal music late at night.

Dorms are a bit cramped, but everything else was great. A really enjoyable place to stay.

Arrived early in the morning to a load of drunks wandering around and no one manning reception. Had to wake up Mike in his hammock. I'm sure some people will enjoy this place, but I found it ultra annoying, with seriously cramped dorms, and Mike to be completely snobbish when your travel plans don't conform to his idea of what to do.

I'm an avid traveller and must say this was the best hostel experience I've ever had! Whether you're looking for some rest whether partying, you'll find both options at Pewman Che. You can either chill out, read your book, take a nap, watch cable tv, surf the web or socialize, play pool, barbecue and go clubbing with people. A friendly and cosy environment for open minded people! Enchanté.

Hostel is not as tidy as it look in the photos. There is no security lockers for everyone but people seemed to be cool with that. You can leave your backpack next to the reception desk, but most of the time there was no one behind it. You can find the stuff quickly in the hostel but sometimes you have to wait quite a while some one to open the front door for you as there is no all the time stuff in the reception. There is no actual breakfast which was peace of cake and coffee.
