Hostelworld says:

Hostelworld guests have said Pfefferbett Hostel's location in Prenzlauer Berg means 'the area around the hostel is full of great bars and restaurants and the subway outside the hostel entrance goes directly to pretty much all the main places of interest'. This area is known for its vintage shops, art galleries and nightlife. Travellers tell us this hostel has sturdy, comfortable beds and that they'd stay here again. We like that they offer daily bicycle rental.

Property Information:

We’re located in part of the Pfefferberg industrial monument. This former brewery, which was built in the mid-nineteenth century, is now a one-of-a-kind cultural centre. Here you can explore galleries, artist's studios, clubs and restaurants. Right on our doorstep!

Our hostel has some impressive architecture. It combines nineteenth-century industrial architecture on the outside with stylish design on the inside. The lobby has brick-vaulted ceilings, organic forms, a huge light installation and an open fireplace.

Our dorms have impressive brick-vaulted ceilings and each bed has its own locker, reading light and power socket. Our double and single rooms feature exclusively designed furniture plus TV and Internet access. All the rooms have freshly-made-up beds and are cleaned daily. The dorms have lockable storage facilities.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is just €6.50, plus you can get some tasty snacks and meals throughout the day. The CITY TAX is not included in the bed price.

There’s so much to do around here – we’ve got a 24hr bar, a pool table, table football, table tennis and more, plus free Internet terminals and Wi-Fi. If it’s cold you can hang out by the open fireplace and if it’s sunny you can relax on the terrace or in our lovely garden.

We have free city maps and free walking tours, or you can borrow a travel guide from our book exchange.

Reception is open 24hrs, with luggage storage, washing machines, towel rental and bike rental for just €10 per day. You can also borrow hairdryers, irons, phone chargers and power adapters.

Prenzlauer Berg is Berlin's 'in' district in central Berlin. Apart from its many shops, cafés and galleries, Prenzlauer Berg has an unequalled nightlife to be experienced in its countless bars and clubs.
Major sights are within walking distance; Hackesche Hoefe is 15 minutes away and the Museum Island and Alexanderplatz are a 20-minute walk.

Our hostel is a non-profit organization which promotes integration and provides jobs for disabled people.

I think what really puts us ahead of the rest is our excellent location. We're set within a historical brewery complex and multi-faceted cultural centre with galleries, studios, clubs, restaurants and a beer garden. This means we've combined 150-year-old industrial architecture with modern interior design. There's also a wild, quiet and lovely garden and sun terrace. Best of all, we're central but you'll still get a quiet night's sleep.
The nearest attractions are Alexanderplatz (two stops by subway or 10 minutes' walk) and Museum Island and the Hackescher Markt (two tram stops or 15 minutes' walk). I also recommend visiting Tuefelsberg at Grundwald - it's one of the most secretive Cold War locations in Berlin.
I think our hostel is ideally suited for backpackers, young couples and small groups aged 20 to 30. We offer a single room which is suitable for disabled guests and our hostel is equipped with an elevator.

very clean hostel, you just need to pay more attention to the showers, or to tell the guests to be more cleal with them. Although overall cleaning very good.
