I stayed there for 1 night, and 3 times the toilet was clogged, which is not a nice thing to start ur morning with :( the room key was not working most of the times, i had to go down to the reception several times for this matter. The location is very good if u wann see Berlin and go out to drink and dance.

Awesome staff. They were friendly and helpful. The guy there in the morning was hilarious. The beds were nice, I slept very well. All very clean and efficient . Breakfast was expensive for me so i only bought tea. Surrounding neighborhood is very cool. Lots of cafes and artists. Lots of families staying at the hostel. People from all walks of life. It was very fun, good community. My one complaint is the wifi. Slow, spotty, can't get it upstairs. Otherwise awesome place, would love to return!

Damn fine place. Only problem was he toilet kept clogging up. PPerhaps it was the 3 ply toilet paper they had (thick! No chance of smearing!)

Internet sucks.

It's right by the underground so easy to get around, and very near all the best places to go. There's a good atmosphere there as a lot of people will be around so it's easy to meet people. Breakfast could've been cheaper given it was a hostel but was still very nice. Plenty of game facilities and pass times when you just want to chill. One bad thing was no wifi in rooms.

The staff is nice and helpful. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby but it's acceptable considering the price. Anyway a good place to stay.

This is a great Hostel - very clean, quiet to sleep. Good value for money and the breakfast (which costs extra) is excellent. Only complaint is the wifi (which is only accessible in the common room) is very unreliable, sometimes to the point of useless.

Nice hostel great location clean and secure Didn't like that they only offered wifi in the reception area. And there were some really old and really young people staying there which detracted from the atmosphere but otherwise a good hostel for the money.

We only stayed a night, but really liked the hostel. The staff was super helpful and the facilities were great, safe and clean. The location was amazing too: right in front of the Senefelder Platz subway station and walking distance to all the cafés and shops in Mitte. The two things that weren´t so good: wi-fi didn't work in the rooms and wasn't working in the reception area either, and the shower was one of those you have to interact constantly for the water to run.

This is my second time at Pfefferbett Hostel and I think it is really nice. It's in a good location, and everything is clean and comfortable. While they do have a 24h bar, which is awesome, it's not much of a party hostel. If you are already travelling with a group I think this is a great chioce, but maybe not if you are alone and looking to meet people.

the hostel is great, it's very nice, clean and modern, but it lacks the "hostel thing", especially if you are a solo traveler. reception "room" is not a reception room, it's just bar tables, so sometimes it's difficult to connect with people. it does not have a kitchen, so you're not able to cook, either you buy food at the bar, or go out somewhere. the staff is friendly enough, but not super. the bar is ok, good prices. rooms are very clean and big. the elevator does not work sometimes.

I put excellent in the facilities option, but its is important to advise: There is NO WIFI on the 3rd floor (i dont know how it was for the other levels), and the lobby wifi had problems almos during all my stay there (bad luck I guess). Having booked a single room, having no wifi was definetively a bad thing. They have LAN connectivity though.

This was my second time at Pfefferbett. I love the atmosphere and the staff is always really awesome and helpful. Unfortunately we encountered a problem with their security. Essentially anyone can enter into the front door and there's no way to know if the person is a guest or not. One of the nights we crossed a man in the hallway and he proceeded to follow my friend into the women's toilets. He didn't enter but he kept opening the door and trying to look in. It was very creepy.

we had a great stay as part of a 26 man stag do. The staff were very calm, cool, patient, and helpful with anything that was asked of them. The hostel is impressively clean and modern. Rooms comfortable, and bathroom shower facilities good. the foyer / bar / chill out area great too. The location is good. Easy for taxi drivers to find, and within a complex of impressive gardens and buildings. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Nice hostel and friendly staff. However, the hostel did not have wifi for the individual rooms and you can only access the Internet in the lobby. The location is right next to Senderplatz which was easy to get around Berlin. I also liked that there was a laundry facility and lockers in the room.
