Very nice neighborhood, biergarten very close. Very clean and comfy. No wifi in rooms (and bad wifi downstairs).

I would compare the hostel very much to a hotel- would say it was great for traveling groups but maybe a bit to big if traveling alone and trying to meet up with other guests. On the whole was a fantastic place to stay and the staff were very friendly. Also shows football matches on a big projector which we enjoyed!

Great location, friendly staff, secure rooms with lockers, sturdy beds, nice terrace and bar, generous breakfast; but no wifi in the rooms and only rather slow wifi at ground floor around the reception.

Pros: Very nice hostel (clean, comfortable, small lockers for valuables) in a great location near a lot of german night life. Each bed had its own plug and lamp. The staff was really nice. The price of laundry was extremely reasonable compared to other hostels I've been to (only 5 euros) Cons: Wifi only works in the common room I would suggest buying a metro pass to help get around to the main sights, since Berlin is so big and Pfefferbett isn't in Mitte. Would definitely recommend!

Really cool vibe. Reasonable price. Good location location, underground across road. Reception staff not overly enthusiastic or helpful. Bar staff much nicer and cheerful.

Staff were incredible. They suggested so many cool things. €5 to wash and dry clothes was fair. Very clean hostel. Everyone gets a big locker so security is great. Hostel has a bar and does food and has party nights so a great laugh. Wifi only works on ground floor but is good. Location is quite central. They rent bikes too for a €10 per day

Very nice hostel! Beautiful garden and nice atmosphere! Good place, not so far from the oldtown.

The best hostel that we stayed in on our entire interrailing trip. When we arrived there had been a problem with booking, one of our friends had been put in a different room to the rest of that, but staff got it sorted straight away. Very clean, very friendly. Fun atmosphere, great beer garden, good food and beer and friendly people and staff. Very easy to get to the city centre as well - will definetly be staying there again!

Excellent hostel! Very clean and secure. The food and bar was excellent quality and very reasonable prices. I would advise using the U-bahn in Berlin because everything is very spread out, there is a station right outside the hostel which was very useful.

Very friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to (perhaps a bit out of the way), with many options for eating including in-hostel deals. Would definitely stay here again.

Really good vibe to the place especially in the evenings!

Had a very positive experience here. A beautiful hostel, helpful staff, nice rooms with big lockers. Tons of common space, two patios, a sandy lounge area, and 24hr bar. Biggest downfall is that WiFi does not reach the rooms, but you can go be social and connect to WiFi in the many different lounge areas downstairs. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the lobby was super clean, and there was always some sweet music playing in the lobby. The room was nice and tidy and the provided electronic lockers added an extra bit of security.

Beautiful hostel, modern rooms with lots of space. Great patio for meals or just hanging out. Breakfast is reasonably priced and has a great selection of food. Highly recommend this place.

Good hostel in a great location, walking distance from all the main tourist bits.

Probably the least friendly staff I have found in any hostel I've stayed in. Service was incredibly incredibly slow, I was waiting for half an hour for even to simplest of requests, the staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. Hostel itself is extremely nice and clean with good facilities, but I would not stay there again because of the staff

I loved this hostel for a number of reasons. 1) It's in a lovely patio just minutes from the action of Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg 2) they have a micro brewery next door 3) the little garden where you can have breakfast or chill out is LOVELY 4) the rooms are cool and the beds are good. If you're looking for accomodation in the heart of Berlin and without the noise of huge tour groups etc, this would be an excellent option. The breakfast buffet was also really good.
