This is a great Hostel - very clean, quiet to sleep. Good value for money and the breakfast (which costs extra) is excellent. Only complaint is the wifi (which is only accessible in the common room) is very unreliable, sometimes to the point of useless.
Nice hostel great location clean and secure Didn't like that they only offered wifi in the reception area. And there were some really old and really young people staying there which detracted from the atmosphere but otherwise a good hostel for the money.
We only stayed a night, but really liked the hostel. The staff was super helpful and the facilities were great, safe and clean. The location was amazing too: right in front of the Senefelder Platz subway station and walking distance to all the cafés and shops in Mitte. The two things that weren´t so good: wi-fi didn't work in the rooms and wasn't working in the reception area either, and the shower was one of those you have to interact constantly for the water to run.
This is my second time at Pfefferbett Hostel and I think it is really nice. It's in a good location, and everything is clean and comfortable. While they do have a 24h bar, which is awesome, it's not much of a party hostel. If you are already travelling with a group I think this is a great chioce, but maybe not if you are alone and looking to meet people.
the hostel is great, it's very nice, clean and modern, but it lacks the "hostel thing", especially if you are a solo traveler. reception "room" is not a reception room, it's just bar tables, so sometimes it's difficult to connect with people. it does not have a kitchen, so you're not able to cook, either you buy food at the bar, or go out somewhere. the staff is friendly enough, but not super. the bar is ok, good prices. rooms are very clean and big. the elevator does not work sometimes.
I put excellent in the facilities option, but its is important to advise: There is NO WIFI on the 3rd floor (i dont know how it was for the other levels), and the lobby wifi had problems almos during all my stay there (bad luck I guess). Having booked a single room, having no wifi was definetively a bad thing. They have LAN connectivity though.
This was my second time at Pfefferbett. I love the atmosphere and the staff is always really awesome and helpful. Unfortunately we encountered a problem with their security. Essentially anyone can enter into the front door and there's no way to know if the person is a guest or not. One of the nights we crossed a man in the hallway and he proceeded to follow my friend into the women's toilets. He didn't enter but he kept opening the door and trying to look in. It was very creepy.
we had a great stay as part of a 26 man stag do. The staff were very calm, cool, patient, and helpful with anything that was asked of them. The hostel is impressively clean and modern. Rooms comfortable, and bathroom shower facilities good. the foyer / bar / chill out area great too. The location is good. Easy for taxi drivers to find, and within a complex of impressive gardens and buildings. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Nice hostel and friendly staff. However, the hostel did not have wifi for the individual rooms and you can only access the Internet in the lobby. The location is right next to Senderplatz which was easy to get around Berlin. I also liked that there was a laundry facility and lockers in the room.
Stayed for 5 nights in double-ensuite and it was fantastic. Great vibe and decor, clean and friendly. What more would anyone want? Beds comfortable and the location is great. A brewery and a theatre in the courtyard nextdoor, a short walk or two U-bahn stops away from Alexander Platz. (The U-bahn is just on the other side of the courtyard) I will defintely stay here again. Easy check in/check out and good music in the reception/lobby means you can enjoy a beer in the late evening.

This place is a bit pricey, but it's very nice. The bar and meals are reasonably cheap, but there's no communal kitchen which adds to the cost of staying here. Overall, the hostel is very clean and everything looks quite new. The lockers are very secure, beds are comfy, rooms are spacious. I ended up staying here longer than intended because I liked it so much.
Amazing experience! The best hostel in Berlin :) I am really happy, breakfast, atmosfere, people, services.. I had a lovely days there!
I have stayed here before and I really like this hostel. It's a bit hidden but has a very central location and is very well connected by U Bahn. The area is full of nice cafés and bars and the hostel itself is modern and clean. I guess the only thing that annoyed me was that several guests came into the dorm between 2-4 in morning on the Sunday night and decided to make a racket and turn the lights on. A bit more respect would be appreciated.
Absolutely no complaints, except well the electric guitars was missing the Small E string Cheap and affordable good enough location cannot complain
