Very kindly staff, clean, great location. Relation price-quality is good

Nice place in Pham Ngu Lao in the same street where nearly all hostels in HCMC are located. The hotel itself is just like all the other ones next door but evrything was clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

Staff were nice and helpful, hostel was in a really good and secure location. Would definitely stay here again.

the hostel is in the center of Pham Ngu Lao and it´s perfect. staff friendly. breakfast ist ok, but every day same (bread with jam or egg) tours to Mekong Delta should be booked somewhere else than directely in the hostel. We booked a private-2-day-tour and the guide was horrible, he was ignorant and didn´t tell us something about vietnamese culture. great area - bad guide! overall, perfect hostel to stay for 2-4 nights.

Very clean, the owner is the most helpgul, friendly man you will ever meet, helped us out with any and everything! Great location, and size of room is great for HCM city. Definitely a great place to stay.

Fantastic stay. Staff we're incredibly accommodating, even down to the housekeeping. Always smiling and willing to help. Rooms were cleaned daily and had everything you needed. Location was excellent and quite central to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place.. Even though we first got a triple room (we ordered a double room) they quickly gave us a room with one double and one single bed for the same charge as a double room - wonderful service.. The location is great - right in the center of the fun part of the city.. Staff is very helpful and BReakfast is adequate..

The best hotel I stayed in Vietnam! Friendly and helpful staff, always 'working' wifi in the room, simple but very nice breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when I am back to Ho Chi Minh!

The staff at Phan Lan were friendly and welcoming. They helped book tours and organize trips even if they were last minute ones! They would get it done! Great service, decent rooms and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks for an amazing experience!

I found the Phan Lan hotel to be friendly, clean and in the percent location. Although the rooms were a little on the small side they were perfect for our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay there which included breakfast and helpful staff.

the location is good. the hostel building is a little old but the room was clean. the room I stayed was on the first floor, so it was a little bit noisy. this hostel was generally nice for one night.

Staff was very friendly and helped with everything they could. The double bed room was small and only had a window towards the hallway. A/C was either to hot or to cold. For the money you get better accomondation in the area. Location was good, near to the backpacker area and walking distance to the Ben Thanh Market but still in a small and quiet alley.

This is a fantastic little guesthouse, it was our favourite from our month in Vietnam. The staff are all friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to assist you. The room was spotless and despite being in the centre of District 1 it's was tucked down a quiet little road so you don't hear the bustle of the city at night.. I'd definitely stay here again.

Van and hang were excellent. I would encourage anyone to go. They were very helpful in arranging day trips and taxis. Great time!

Lovely helpful staff! We arrived very early in the morning and were offered breakfast while we waited for our room. While the room had no outside window it was clean and tidy and perfectly sufficient to our needs.

Fantastic staff that are extremely helpful with all your needs. Great location, easy walking distance to most places. They use a good tour company for the Cu Chi Tunnels. Rooms are clean and tidy. Shower was excellent, especially after coming from one that was just a trickle in Hoi An.Good breakfast included too!

By far the strength of this place is the staff. They are so lovely and helpful. The breakfast is great and very social as we all sit around the one table. The rooms are clean with aircon and a fan - a must fo HCMC. It is in the backpacker area and super cheap for what you get. i would stay here again if I returned so that is always a good sign.

The staff made this place. They were extremely warm and friendly, took personal interest in your safety and wellbeing and were as helpful as anybody could be. They made the entire stay very easy and pleasant. The rooms were adequate albeit with a very cramped bathroom. Beds were comfortable though. Overall thouroghly satisfied with this hostel.
