In general the hotel is ok. I had a single room (double bed for single occupancy) but it was on the 5th or 6th floor and there's no elevator. With a little imagination there's a window but the view is an alley. The free breakfast is positive, location good. It's a good option but you can find approx. the same for half the price ...

The rooms were clean and secure, the staff were able to book onward journeys Halong bay, Sapa and among others places of interests. I stayed in 1st floor room which was easy to get to but if on the upper floors could be a pain as no elevator.

Upon arrival they made many calls as they'd lost our booking. Our room was not what was booked, but as the hotel was full there was no point complaining. Others who had booked were told to stay elsewhere. We didn't like the vibe or the rudeness of staff; as we were staying one night & had already booked tours they were not helpful compared to their attitude toward others. They also tried overcharging us, fortunately we'd kept our booking form. We found a nearby better place for the same price.

Excellent hotel, good location. Room was very clean and the staff were great. I also booked Ha Long Bay excursion through the hotel and got a good price, but they were not pushy about it like some hotels can be.
