No one who speaks English was there when we arrived. Luckily staff were friendly, even though sometimes communication can be a bit difficult. Would be great if Wifi is in all rooms.

Despite all bad reviews about the staff, we had a very nice stay with them. It`s a family business not a major chain hotel. They were very simple and polite people. It`s about 5 min walk from the main street, wich could be unpleasant, but in fact we really enjoy wake up in a morning hangover listening to the birds. Very good price for the great cleanliness, worth the price.

We found the surroundings and bungalow beautiful. Unfortunately we found the staff generally unhelpful. When we arrived after pre booking a room with balcony and aircon they tried to put us in the cheapest room, they did move us after requested. However we did find them unhelpful when we asked for help as they were generally more interested in watching tv. The western English speaking manager was however very helpful when he was there.

Well, they had somehow not received the booking or messed it up, I never found out... Fact is that when I arrived late at night, there was nobody at reception, no note or anything and I had to spend the night sleeping outside - freezing... Luckily they had hammocks around the place, so I didn't have to sleep on the naked floor, even though my back didn't actually thank me for it. I almost couldn't walk for two days even with painkillers and I'm still hurting... But besides that it was fine :)

The place is great! Excellent value. The staff engaged in a few shouting matches with other guests while I was there. And their rates for tours and rentals are significantly more expensive than in town.

Place is really good if you want to be in a secluded area. Staff could be more suggestive of where to go close by and what to see.

This place is unique in Vang Vieng, far from the mess of center Vang Vieng. We didn't mind the 10 min walk as in the end it was a very peaceful place to stay and sleep for longer. The staff, specially Ong, was very helpful in taking care of our bus trip to Luang Prabang. Only negative comment is that breakfast was not included, contrary to what we were told when we arrived. This is a very nice place to stay if you want to chill out in Vang Vieng during the day.

No wifi in the room. The resort is right next to the bus stop which is nice, but it is pretty far from all of the bars and restaurants. It was a cute room, but in a bungalow there will be humidity and easily get lots of bugs.

Although the property is not on the main street it is probably one of the best places to stay in Vang Vieng. Newly renovated, spacious rooms. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere away from the notorious party locations. Local staff is quite unfriendly and uninterested in their guests. If you have a problem better check with the British owner. Don't bother to eat there, you'll find better places in town.

The grounds are very pretty and by a field with a rural feel away from the main drag of Vang Vieng guesthouses. The staff doesn't speak much English. Also, the sink in my room wasn't connected to any pipes so the water went all over the floor.
