Just a few houses outside the city. Staff is not realy helpfull. And nothing to do on the resort. Rooms are nice, but the sink was not connected to the sewage system, but there was an open hole at the back, leading the water directly to the bathroom floor.

Situated across the air field, this hostel is a ten minute walk to the main touristy street. It's run by a rally nice family and includes breakfast. When we got to our room we noticed a lot of ants coming into our room. The room was good size and updated furniture. However, the shower and bathroom had ants all over the floor and on the wall. When my girlfriend and I woke up in the morning, we had a few bites on our leg. If you don't mind ants, the hostel is nice and good value .
To our surprise there was free satellite with English movie channels. There was free drinking water available. The only thing I had a problem with was the bathroom was wet everywhere when we first checked in. The staff was nice. We had some internet connection problems but they were quick to solve it. Air conditioning worked fine. It was a nice quiet area and is 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
We stayed in a very dark room, with only one light working so it was very difficult to manage properly. Our bathroom had a serious ant infestation and so did the main room, we told the reception asap and they said they'd sort it however it only seemed to make the problem worse.
Beautiful property, like staying in a fairy garden. Rooms were very clean and aircon and fan worked very well. About a 10/15 minute walk to downtown. Not bad, but at night a bit sketchy. Not much social atmosphere, but its a nice place and none of the hostels have aircon in town. would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place. Outside vang viengs crazy main street but still in a walking distance. Lovely bungalows with good beds and strong AC. Is a entire family running the place and they are all lovely. The food is also good!
A little bit out of town but it's a 5 min walk. Nice and quiet. A little bit pricier to stay there but rooms were nice.
Good value for money, however it is a little far from the town, but it is quiet and away from the "party" atmosphere so that is a plus. If you book a bus with reception, make sure they give you a bus ticket because that was an issue when I got to the bus station. Food at the restaurant is pricey compared to town. Cleanliness in room could be a little bit improved (some spiderwebs in corners), but overall, good value for money.
Excellent stay. Was upgraded free of charge from single to double deluxe. Clean and spacious rooms. Would definitely stay there again...
This is a lovely guesthouse set in beautiful gardens, with friendly staff and a nice restaurant. The double room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. It was nice to be outside of the centre, while being able to walk there in 5 minutes. A great spot!
Bit far out, one of the girls we were with wasn't comfortable walking back alone. Otherwise excellent, owner and manager both amazing. I'd stay again.
I would stay here again. It's quite yet still really close to town. I was originally worried about Mosquitos/Malaria since it was so lush, but the staff do a very good job at smoking them out. Very helpful and friendly staff. We booked all our tours and you can also book bus tickets as well (best to do this one day before).
