the attitude of the staff should improve a little bit.

stayed at the 4-bed dorm non air-con rm upstairs and it was v small. i liked how we were not allowed to wear our footwear upstairs to the dorms. but the pillows and mattresses did not seem v clean. the walls in my dorm looked a little dirty too. appreciate how the toilet is pretty much clean. also liked the free internet access and TV area, great place to get to know more people. average staff service, lady at counter sometimes appears to have mood swings, but they have been able to offer info!

wrong room rate huh?!

Location is perfect if you want to have one point where you stay and daily travel to different places on Phuket, as it's just next to bus stop. Friendly staff, however ordering a breakfast was a bit difficult - I couldn't do it in the evening for the next day (too early), but next day I heard there is not enough time for them to prepare (I had 30 minutes till pick-up). No matter, better food ison the street anyway.

One of the nicest hostels i've stayed in. Very clean and modern.

We greeted by a very rude woman when we checked in. Our room was not very clean and the bathroom was disgusting.

Great place in the heart of the town. If you are looking for a place to sleep far from the beach in the middle of the old town, this place is excellent value for money. The restaurant is also very good

Was there during low season so a bit quiet, but clean, good location and reasonable prices. We were however a little surprised by the looks of the rooms, or should I say cubicles...

Great place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff are extremely helpful. I arrived late and so hot and sweaty from walking from the bus station but the receptionist gave me a cold towel and upgraded me to an a/c room. Can't ask for more really. Also, not many travellers stay in Phuket town for more than 1 night but its really worth staying, just go for a wander and surprise yourself! Transfer to the beaches is right outside the hostel so also really handy.

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm room, there was no lock on the door and it was very hot and cramped. The 'door' was seethrough plastic. Having said that the common room area was nice and the hostel was clean, so aside from the security worries it was fair value for money,

Staff is very nice...free beer chit on arrival....beer sales at hostel VERY good price-good location to get around Phuket Town but would not want to stay much longer. Took in the zoo and butterfly garden. Zoo is place to get foto with Tiger,monkey, snake...

I absolutely loved this hostel! It was cheaper that the ones in Patong, but it was very easy to get to any of the beaches in Phuket. The staff was nice but didn't speak very good english so it was hard asking them questions about where to go and stuff. But the beds were huge and clean. And they accept credit cards which was awesome!

This is the 2nd time we're staying here. We started in the Deluxe En-suite (Rm 110). Very spacious but lots of mosquitos and leaked from roof when raining. Recommend you check that room has been renovated first. Moved to Standard En-suite which was better and smaller but like a concrete cell. From memory dorms were better the 1st time we stayed. Overall, it's still a great value for money backpacker and staff are helpful with activities.

Clean, comfortable , cheerful and cheap, I have extended my stay so that I can enjoy the atmosphere here.

I reserved air-conditioned room, but actually there are just only two fan. this is first disappointing. Secondary, some staff are not good at English and difficult to communicate with hers. Location is good.

Really clean hostel. Good bar with a free beer voucher on check in! Great chill out area with loads of DVDs available.

After the flea bag hostels I was forced to endure in Malaysia this hostel was a godsend. The cleanliness of the place came as a pleasant surprise.

Lots and lots of dvds. Always a film on in the common room!
