Found a rat in our room, which ran across the floor while we were watching TV, summing up our stay here. Also booked some train tickets here and the staff took $5 commission per ticket on a journey that should have cost $4-5 in total. When this was queried, they lied and said that commission was 40k dong ($2) - but the actual figure was $5 per ticket. I found this dishonesty annoying. Location is average and free shuttle only drops you at a relatives silk shop so they can sell you clothing!

This hotel was fantastic! Very clean, rooms looked very modern, beds were very comfortable and location was good too! The buffet breakfast was the best we have had in Vietnam. The staff were kind and helped organise our onward travel to Hue, our bus to Hanoi and our over night cruise in Halong Bay - all were perfect and a cheap! Most impressive was the Phuong Nam tailors linked to the hotel - a girl named Lee works there and ordered the suits perfectly and sent them to me in Hue! V.Impressed

nice hotel to stay in. not good for individual travelers to meet others. the included breakfast is excellent. staff are very helpful. located about 1km away from town centre so when its raining its not fun to walk. they have a free shuttle bus however it only runs every half hour so sometimes you have to wait.

Its difficult to rate this hotel properly as when we arrived they had not processed our booking from hostelworld and as such there was no availability and we were forced to move hotel. The staff helped us find a new place (apparently to another in their chain of hotels but turned out to be completely separate) but showed no regret over the mix up. Not impressed.

One of the nicest places I've stayed as a backpacker. For a decent price it was nice to have some luxury. A few minutes out of town but the free shuttle bus is great. Would love to stay here again

Very nice hotel and great buffet breakfast included however only negative was the staff trying to sell onward tickets, trips etc which is fine until you find out in town they are over charging for these services. Also pushing their own tailor on you through their shuttle bus service into town is wearing at best.

Really good hotel a bit out of town but the frequent hotel minibus makes it easier to get to the centre of the town. Great swimming pool.

This is an excellent place to stay. It is very clean and professional. The staff is absolutely fantastic. If you are a backpacker it is a nice place to have a bit of luxury and freshen up a bit at a good price. I think it is great for families and couples as well. Very, very nice. Very quiet and relaxing.

A great hotel if your looking for a relaxing stay in Hoh An. Great pool area, proper oasis, and nice rooms. Deluxe rooms have real nice showers! Short walk to town, with bike even shorter.
