Phuttachot Resort Phi Phi Reviews

Clean, large room, with a balcony, up on a hill which gives you a nice view (a rarity with Hostels). The only drawback might be it is up the hill in Phi Phi, so it is about 10min walk to town and 15min to the pier, however away from the town gives you some extra quietness.

The wooden building & free water were awesome, but: One of our bathrooms was sloped the wrong way around; after each shower, the whole floor would be covered in cold water. We've brought this up with the staff repeatedly, until which they "solved" the problem by giving us a mob to try to clean it up. Both bathroom doors were hard to use. All towels had weird stains, we used our own instead. WiFi was free but unreliable. It was fun, but we expected more value for the money & won't come again.

ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU ARE DESPERATE. The room was dirty, with stains on the towels and sheets. The washroom was gross, with stains all over the mirror. I stayed over new year's and the room price was ridiculous! There were gaps between the door and frame, bugs were able to get in. I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door because the gap was huge. Finally, we could hear noise from all rooms beside and above us. The only good part was that the hostel is outside the city, so it was quiet.
