I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and friendly and the location is fantastic (the roof top terrace is a great place to sip a beer and look over all of Cusco). They happily kept our extra bags safe while we went trekking and provided space heaters when/if it got cold at night. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Very lovely place, the staff was helpful and the view from (some of) the rooms is amazing: see the whole Plaza de Armas from the hill. Very close to the city center (less than 10min walk) although it's a small hike uphill. Truly recommending this hostel!

Unique looking hostel with cute little rooms. Rooms are very clean with hot shower. Every room has a fast and stable wifi and some of them has a view to Cusco. Staff are super friendly and helpful and they speak and understand English. Breakfast is quite simple with bread and coffee but it is buffet style. Location is very good except if you hate walking stairs. Stairs are steep but not very long. You will walk to Plaza de Arms in 5 minutes. One of the best places in our trip. Very recommended!

Amazing terrace with great views of the main square. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and nice. Quiet and relaxing. Great staff that were very helpful. The walk uphill to the hostel is not terrible - it's short and very close to the plaza de armas but definitley tireing in the altitude. Stayed in four hostels in Cusco, and this was our favorite.

A beautiful hostel, but be prepared for a very steep climb! Great interiors and rooms (although the ensuite bathroom was a little cramped) and breakfast is a good selection in a relaxing cafe next door. Our main issue was noise. The layout of the hostel means you can hear every conversation in the courtyard, corridor or reception, which meant being woken by the cleaning staff chatting every morning before 7am...not ideal. The team are friendly though, so if you have earplugs, you´ll be fine!

We stayed twice at Piccola Locanda - before and after completing the Inca Trail. We had a lovely room with lovely views over Cusco. They were very kind and stored our belongings while on the trail and had them in our room waiting for us on our return. There is a small terrace with a fabulous views down to the main square, a comfortable area for breakfast and a little book exchange. Breakfast was basic but the juice and coffee were good.. It is a short but STEEP walk from the main square.

While Piccola Locanda is an excellent Cuzco hostel overall for foreigners - clean rooms, beautiful panoramic view from the upstairs balcony, and free breakfast - its location on the top of a hill made the climb each and every day rather difficult. Also, the main owner was not always available and was not the most approachable woman either.

Located at the top of a small hill above Plaza De Armas, the walk to Piccola is worth the walk. We stayed for 3 days and found ourselves returning even when just passing through Cuzco to connect with Camilo regarding travel recommendations. The service is exceptional and the facilities comfortable. Four computers are available for use in the roomy snack/breakfast area.

This bed and breakfast is adorable and everything we had hoped for. The staff is incredibly helpful and helped us plan our four days there, so that we were able to see everything and for the right price. In a city which can feel overwhelmed with tourism at times, Piccola Locanda is a perfect little escape.

The staff (Joseph, Camilo and all the girls) is very friendly, this is surely the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The price is good and so is the breakfast. They even prepare a bag with some food for those who leave the hostel before the breakfast time. The only thing that can be seen as a problem is the long way upstairs to get there from the Plaza de Armas, but for me it was not a big deal. It's good to make some exercises sometimes... :)

Piccola Locanda is one of the best hostels that I have stayed at. Our room was tasteful and homely, with a fantastic view over Cusco. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent Location, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, good breakfast every morning. There is nothing that was not good during my stay - it is not cheap but it was worth it!
