hot showers and location are great

Despite there being a gigantic divit in every bed that you rolled into while you slept, it wound up being like a comfy nest. It's an old rickety place with floors that bend and make you feel you'll fall right through. WiFi pretty good, amazing hot showers, good breakfast. Our friends didn't book ahead for their stay in Uyuni and just walked into a place with all the same amenities for less than half what we paid here, so felt a bit ripped off.

Most people recommend against staying the night in Uyuni before or after doing the Salt Flats tour but it worked out that it was easier more for to do it this way and I'm so glad I did. Piedra Blanca is a great stop before or after with extremely comfy and big beds, hot showers (believe me you'll appreciate that after 3 days of freezing cold water) and a good breakfast to fill you up for the trip ahead. Good wifi too, a rarity in Bolivia and non existent in Uyuni.

Very helpful staff. Building creaks a bit when trying to make an early exit and you dont want to wake people but expected of older building. Happy with my stay

The hostel itself was fine - the breakfast was good, the wifi worked, the location was right in the center of town, and the rooms were clean. The private room was loud. We found the atmosphere and staff to be a real turn-off. From the moment we arrived, they were hounding us about no guests allowed inside the hostel, no sharing of the wifi, don't take too long of showers, etc. The front desk was often left unstaffed for questions, and leaving the hostel fairly insecure.

The hostel is in the middle of Uyuni, which is nice. Very secure and safe. The guy who welcomed us was very nice and helpfull. Breakfast is very poor but we expected that - thank you hostelworld ;-) We had bedbugs - unfortunately, so we can't say the room was clean. Showers and toilets are clean and the toilets even have toilet paper!

Very good Hostel in Uyuni, just a little bit expensive (like the average prices you have to pay in this). No hammocks.

Hostel is in the center of Uyuni. Rooms are clean and big. Kitchen is bad equipted and dirty. Good stay for Uyuni..

Only stayed one night before doing a tour in the desert. We were in a private room which was okay. An okay place to stay for a short time before/after a tour

Really nice hostel, good location, comfortable beds, decent breakfast - perfect for a rest after the salt flats!

Good for a one night stay before going on tour to Salar the Uyuni. In the rooms you can hear everything from outside.

Very nice hostel, I already stayed the second time there.

Good for a place to rest after the salt flats tour.

Great pitstop before setting off on a 3 day Salar de Uyuni tour. Hot showers, communal kitchen and sitting room area with TV and DVD player. Clean showers and great comfortable warm beds. Was also really helpful to be able to come back to use the showers, wifi and communal areas after the dusty Salar tour for 20 Bolivianos. Ok breakfast with bread, cereal and yogurt.

I was only one day, because Uyuni in general offers nothing more than a bridge to the magnificent experience of the Salar! The hostel is cozy, clean and equipped kitchen. Staff friendly and polite! Good breakfast ... Recommended.

Very large private room with clam bathroom. Hostel has a friendly atmosphere and is perfect for a pre/post Salar tour stay. Located on the Main Street with many restaurants, ATMs and shops nearby.

Awesome atmosphere. The court yard is a great place to hang and meet people coming off the salt flats.

Nice lounge room and common areas but the staff are a bit too militant for me, there are lots of unneccessary rules that are enforced at ever point imaginable. The cleaning lady who is lovely has a very badly behaved child who sits in the common room annoying guests on a morning - not ideal!

ok hostel for a few nights in uyuni. they had free wifi which was perfect since there is not so much to do in uyuni :) don't expect to much of a breakfast..
