Pillows & Toast was a cute little place in the heart of Chinatown, which was a perfect location! The breakfast was great-- had some toast :) but they had peanut butter and jam and butter so it was good. The facilities are pretty basic, but it was still a nice stay.

Staff were very confused when I arrived and took me to another hostel before realising I did have a reservation (which I showed them). The DVD player in the chill out zone does not work. In the dorms you have to make your own bed, and the bed linen given was dirty. Otherwise staff were friendly and the bathrooms clean, although there was not much of a backpacker vibe and family's with children stayed in the hostel also.

Very nice location! Close to Chinatown MRT, easy to get supplies, but yet still pretty quiet at night. Not a fancy hostel, but well decorated and maintained, very cozy for travelers.
