The locker I was assigned was borderline broken. I did not feel safe putting my stuff in there. My bed was on the right-hand side on the main floor in the girls only dormitory. This was a major issue for me. Also, I came into the hostel at 6am. I spent the entire morning (until 2pm) waiting for a bed to open up. I understand there are booking overlaps etcetera, but I was hoping, considering I had booked it for that day online, that I could have had a bed before 2.

Great, friendly, comfortable hostel. Only comment is that toilet/shower areas need to be cleaned more often and kitchen garbage emptied more regularly.

Would be a nice play to stay, if not for the bedbug infestation in the 3rd floor dorm I stayed in. Woke up with bites all over my body, then found a bedbug in the bed they moved me to for the next night. Had to check out early because I didn't trust the place after that.

Pillows & toasts is a great place to stay. The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to Chinatown MRT station. It cost 29 Sing dollars from airport by taxi in the mid-night (credit card is accepted). Room was clean; so was the bathroom in general. Toasts and instant coffee are provided in the morning. Nothing could be complaint about and I defitinely will stay with Pillows&toast next time when I come to S'pore.

Location was good, close to the main areas and some good food and shopping around. The hostel had extremely friendly and helpful staff. Some of the bedding was not clean, however we were given some bed sheets /blanket sheets/pillow cases to put over it.

Toilets were gross, no soap. Our room smelt terrible. On the day we were checking out no one was at the desk for 20 minutes.. Ridiculous.

I really enjoyed this place. It's very easy to find, and the staff are very friendly there. Good facilities, very clean, and very comfortable beds. There is a nice lounge area in the attic space that is very relaxing and a nice place to escape the world for a while. The price is also quite good compared to a lot of other options. I enjoyed my stay here a lot!

Overall, not as good as Wink Hostel, but commensurately cheaper I suppose. Good for very low budget backpackers. Beds were a bit shaky so that when your bunk mate gets in or out, the whole thing shakes. The very small shower/toilet is not easy to shower int, and the floor is wet and the toilet seat is wet.
