Excellent place to stay. Excellent value for money. Very good environment. Personal were very kind to solve any issue.

My favourite hostel in Europe so far, great set up, modern with nice clean rooms with big lockers under the beds which are very useful. Shower and toilet facilities are clean and there are plenty of them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Has a great common area and outside patio area to sit in the sun.

The staff was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the fairly poor breakfast. they could at least get better coffee and bread.

This is the best hostel I have ever been to. Raquel and Pedro are there to ensure that your stay in Porto is incredible, they do anything for their guests. They treated me like I was part of their family. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I could go on for days about my appreciation for these wonderful hosts and my love for Pilot Hostel. I will be back! No doubt about that!

i loved how familiar the atmosphere was, also the staff was really nice and helpful. the only three points i didnt like was the light in the shower and the toilet, that there was just one hotplate for all guest of the hostel and that there was no cheese for breakfast :)

top remarks, cosy, thrustfull and staff / less good remarks: decoration (could do a makeover in the future - agree with the general idea of too dark, not on the rooms tough), provided ambience (music and entertainment, they had a tablet for people to use in order to do that, but i didn't see it, it was ruined should have more efficientely and fast renwed it, and only one? creativity guys come on) eitherway it was ok, but not met the expectations the website and other reviews created..

Pilot is such an amazing hostel! I really wish that others could be as much awesome as they are. Bathrooms are not only always neatly clean, but also stylish and smelling good! The staff rocks! They really became good friends of mine! The hostel is pretty close to the metro station and also to lot of hot spots in Porto! I felt like home!

The location of this hostel is perfect and it is clean! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for? Make sure you rent the bikes they have in the hostel!!! if you're there only one day, it was the best way to see the city for sure!

The staff were great, the place is clean and friendly. We liked the daily activities - a good way to meet other travelers and check out the city.

We we're with 6 friends a weekend to Porto, it was for the most of us, advanced travelers, one of the best hostels we stayed ever. The owners were great, the atmosphere was great and we also had some nice food and a pub crawl. Raquel was such a nice host. And Porto is a great city, going out is great. But also the hostel is such a nice decorated place, the outside terrace is great for people who are not used to sun.

It is very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, value for money, well situated for transport (metro and bus - very quick from Trindade) and walking into town - about 10 min leisurely walk to the river. Has free towels. The outside communal area was really nice.

Liked: Big Hostel with nice bedrooms. I stayed in a 8 bedroom one. The bathrooms are clean and the beds are INCREDIBLE. You don't have to pay nothing if you want the top linen. I only stayed there one night and I was travelling alone, but I imediatlly met some people to go out with. Great location.!

The road has two names, and our taxi driver only knew of one, but he was super nice (as is everyone in Porto) and didn't charge us for the extra 30 minutes we were lost. The hostel is really nice, very close to the city, and has a tasty breakfast (the homemade jam is delicious!), and the staff there are super friendly! We stayed up in the attic, and we found some ants, but they were coming in through the open skylight, so make sure to close that. Overall, great stay!!! Loved it, loved Porto!!

I had a very nice stay at the Pilot hostel, very friendly staff and great location. It was very clean and they had nice hot showers. On top of that the breakfast was nice to. It was my money really worth! I would stay with them again if i would visit Porto another time.
