it is very nice backpacker, close to the beach. personal great. on this beach is almost nothing to do. anyway sometimes thai people go arround and you have to pay 100TBH for your couch. if you take your umbrela and towel just ley on the sand it is the same. so maybe better Patong beach, but from that I don´t have experience. enjoy

It is just 5 Minutes walk to the really extremely beach, but the it is very crowded and there is mostly families there (especially Russians). I was traveling all by myself and I stayed about 5 nights, I have to say though, that I was tired of hanging around at the beach all day, because I felt like there was nothing else going on! The hostel itself is clean! They don't have AC, but it's fine, the fans are enough! Also the area is overpriced, and it's hard to find good food there!

Stayed in dorm there for 4 nights in Feb/13 hostel was a good location Karon Beach 5 mins walk to the beach. Lots of Restaurants, Bars and a really cool Raggae bar with lots of fun games and activities about 1 min from the hostel. I was Ill well there and despite the fact they were full they found me a bed in the hostel and they talked to the message place next door to give my friend a place to stay. Staff was super friendly And even checked up on me well sick.

The first night they didn't have my room ready. I slept in the floor. Tue owner said that this kind of things sometimes happen, but I made my book two months before. The room that they pass me later was nice, but I can't recommend a place that sometimes doesn't have the room that you book. No tnian pieza cuando llegue, dormi en una colchoneta en el suelo. El cuarto de la 2 noche estaba bn, pero no puedo recomendar un lugar q no tiene tu reserva. El dueño dijo q eso a veces pasaba.

Had a great stay at Pineapple Guesthouse. Not only are the facilities adequate and very clean, but I was overwhelmed at how helpful, warm and welcoming the staff was. They take the time to chat with you, and are very knowledgeable about Phuket and Thailand - great for anyone that is vacationing in one place or island hopping. Thanks again to Steve Lek and Saai for a lovely stay.

Great value for your money. Really close to the beach and lots of local restaurants. I thought the dorm room was pretty smelly, and the bathrooms were kinda dirty. There also wasn't really anywhere to hang out during the day if you wanted a break from the heat, and the wifi wasn't the greatest. However, I thought it was a great place to stay if you're just sleeping there at night. A lot of other backpackers too!

Stayed in the dorm. No a/c but fan was enough to be honest. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff is wonderful, taking a personal interest in you and making sure you're getting what's best for you. Excellent WiFi. Pineapple gives you way more than what you pay for.

I had a great time and the staff are super friendly. It's not some place I would go for a honeymoon or something but for traveling it is a perfect. I would definitely go back at some point. The best thing about the place are the super nice and friendly staff members :)

Great staff!! So nice, helpful, and accommodating! We took advantage of their free airport pick-up service and the man who picked us up was so nice (and his daughter is so cute, btw!). When we arrived, they had accidentally overbooked the dorm and offered for us to stay in one of the private A/C rooms upstairs at the price of the dorm. Dorm (mixed) was nice (LOTS of fans! including personal fans), bathroom was co-ed and in the dorm room (awkward). Right off the main street and 5 mins to beach!

WONDERFUL PLACE! located at Karon, a 15 minute drive from the main tourist area, so if you want the main party area stay near Bangla Road (near patong). I recommend you stay in Karon as well and stay at this hostel-the owners are wonderful Thai people and will do ANYTHING for you-pick up from airport, help you buy a phone, tell you where to go. I felt like part of the family when staying there :) Karon is a WONDERFUL area with great Thai food and culture, but make sure you stay here!!!
