It was a pleasant stay - not too far a walk from the main part of town - but still being in a quiet location. Paragliders land just down the road. Cooking facilities were good and kitchen and bathroom cleaned daily.

Stayed for two nights and it was really noisy in both nights. A lot of teenagers drinking all over the places and partying till the next morning. One thing I would give credit to is the security manager who was really patient and helped us getting the key during after hours.

The room was really great, and the location... wow!

Great value for money and nice chalet style cabins with their own kitchen facilities. Staff were really helpful.

We stayed twice at Pinewood and both times the doona had stains on it, I doubt they wash this regularly. Also each block should have it's own clothes line as there's plenty of space for it.

Pinewood is a large complex, with a range of rooms and facilities, just 10 minutes walk from the centre. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, they even went out of their way to take us, cheaply, to Arrowtown. The rooms are a little dated and, unfortunately, a little neglected by the cleaners- who seem to miss the little things, like under the bed or emptying the bin.
