Good: Clean, comfy beds and blankets, nicely located, helpful staff, awesome common room so easy to meet people, relatively cheap. Bad: Broken shower, broken floor tiles (room 5), staff cleaned room at 9am in the morning which is much earlier than the stated time and was unnecessary, nothing much of a breakfast, internet is extremely slow

Great place to say, my first stay at a hostel and I will most definately be back. surprisingly nice bathroom, clean bedroom, and very welcoming common areas and staff.

If you don't have any other place in Malaga, if the weather is terrible and outside is dangerous, ok. Otherwise, no, thanks. Humid, dirty and dark place.

There was a window in the bathroom that wouldn't close, so it was quite cold in the winter. Also, people on the street could see you in the bathroom. When we left, the staff did not think to return our key deposit when we returned the key. Also, the man at the desk was rude to us. The walking tour with Catherine (Poncho Tours) was excellent though. It ran a little long, but it was very informative.

Superb Hostel.free upgrade to a ensuite as it wasn't busy. very clean and good staff. Only downfall is that it is close to the main road, at night time the bin men come round in their trucks and make a lot of noise. only applies to the rooms overlooking the road. Also, the walk from the nearest tube/metro line,i.e. main train station or Alameda isn't that close.NOT a 10-15min walk. it cost around 8euros for the taxi to the train station. with your bags its quite a walk.more like 30mins walk.

Negative points: in double room u'll find only bed&couch; there isn't wardrobe or any coatrack(neither in bath)no lampshade that u see in photo, no rollin at window(but dark curtains), broken bulbs, not included breakfast. Positive: very central location, funny&helpful staff, cheap&clean enough. Finally: seems perfect place where meet people(I was there out of season), so good hostel but not the best! It's a pity they don't care much(well guys, change bulbs and put a pin on the wall for towels!)

Not a typical hostel where u get to meet ppl and hang out. Location is good though, walking distance but not loud! The staff was SOOO unfriendly and wasn't even willing to help!!! Shocking!!! When u r looking for a place just to crash and not to mingle with others and u know ur way around, it's a place to stay. But not otherwise...

Exactly what you want in a hostal. Cheap, clean, and great people! Would definately recommend this hostal. Spent a nice 5 nights here, right near the center and 15 minutes walking to the beach.

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The decor was shabby and dirty, the shower rusting, the lock to our room door was broken so staff needed to unlock it for us every time we wanted to get in. The private room was right next to reception so really noisy. There seemed to be no care or thought put into making it a good place to stay. The only thing that stopped us walking out was the very helpful staff member David.

I found the key difficulty very frustrating and could be improved on. They didn't think it was an issue.

+The hostel has a good location for travelers coming and going from the airport and bus station. +/- Because of renovations things were half finished (e.g. the shower head was not mounted on the wall) but all together you could see that it's going to be a nice place with character. +The team was very helpful and could give directions to whatever the heart desired :-) - The room I stayed in was very small - no directions on the hostekworld-website

negative points: - the use of key or rahther the key. In fact, it was difficult to open the door of the hostel. Hopefully, I never went back without a friend that knew how to turn so as it opens very positive points: - all was regularly and well cleaned, above all the rooms positive points: -possibility to borrow beachvolleyball, tennis racket -the staff was helpful and interesting - the hostel is located 20 min from the beach on foot and 3 min from the city centre
