No privacy for the toilet and shower, just a curtain covering the doorway. Bed railings were very squeaky. On the plus side: staff were friendly, location is good, and there's a pool!! ^^
I'm happy to bring my business to creative entrepreneurs such as the owner of Pink Manila. Continued Success!
Loved this place. Staff were awesome. The bar, lounge and pool were always fun to hangout in. Food was always fresh and nice, also they let you use the kitchen and cook your own meals if you would rather bring your own in.

I could not have been happier with how helpful the staff were. After some booking problems through Hostelworld, they contacted me directly to apologize and emailed me again when guests cancelled to offer me a room, knowing I was stranded at the airport in Kalibo. The pink lights on the top of the building when I arrived after dark confirmed I was in the right spot! The pool was a sweet bonus to have in the city, and the room was comfortable with the a/c a saving grace from Manila's humidity.
Everything is good at Pink Manila ! Staff very friendly and helpful ! Will go again for sure! =)
I've never stayed at a hostel with such little security (no security?). If you would like to stay somewhere with a lock on your door, find another hostel.

Generally a very good place to stay in Manila, the swimming pool is a great plus that not so many hostel can boast having. Great view from the rooftop location. Some might say the location is not central, but after several days I don't even know where is the center of Manila... Only drawback: the internet is slow to the point of being useless (that is, on my device at least). That might not be the hostel's fault, though.
Awesome pool on the rooftop where you can hang out by, or in, by the bar, TV, games, music. Plenty of space to chill out on your own, too if you fancy beingThe room layouts mean the bedrooms are well ventilated, no nasty surprises!
Stayed at the pink manila about 5 times during a month in the Philippines.it's clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful and its a great.place to meet people. The common area is great.for.both a party and chilling out. The chill out option is great if you don't need to stay in a bed but just need somewhere to crash for a few hours. Thanks pink manila.
This place has a great atmosphere and is a nice place to spend time in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful and close to Vito Cruz station from where it is easy to get to the main sights. There is a good menu and plenty of seating. The building has good security.
very friendly staff, help us a lot, very nice place, although the only problem is the bed, during the night I could feel the platform bed in my ribs.
Super team, super private room, super swimming pool, super view ! :) (Ben from France)
Not the best location for a hostel and the pool is dirty and un-useable. It is however a relaxing and chilled out place to stay.
Wow! The atmosphere at this place is phenomenal. They have a 3-level penthouse overlooking Manila, complete with swimming pool for those late-night skinny dips... This is definitely a one-of-a-kind hostel experience worth every pesos.
Due to the swimming Pool, the Pool area and the view from the 5th floor the hostel has a great atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately there is not much to do in walking distance. So you always have to take a taxi or the MRT every time.
Okay place in Manila, though located in the middle of nowhere, halfway between Makati and Melate. Neighborhood looks quite poor, but safe. Staff is really nice though, lockers are in the rooms. Reasonably clean, but the pool looks a bit dirty (but there's a pool!!!). Good value for money but I would recommend a place in either Makati (or Melate if that's your kinda thing) instead, just for the sake of convenience and being close to places.
The swimming pool is not clean
Really quirky building, but sadly the general standards aren't as good as they should be. Dorm bunks are wobbly, so if either person moves the whole bed rocks about. The toilet has no door, just a cheap curtain, and there's no lock on the shower door. The swimming pool looks great on the photos, but wasn't clean enough to use while I was there. Half the fans in the dorm don't work, so it gets very sweaty at night. Apparently the hostel is only a year old, but it appears very run down.
Arrived at the hostel to be told that there had been a 'glitch' in the system and we couldn't have the original private room that we booked ages and ages ago. However, it was fairly obvious that the staff member was reading a prepared speech and lying. We got kicked out to a large dorm because of someone who was staying longer than us... and therefore they would get more money. Ohwell, it happens... but if you're going to make up stuff... at least know how to talk-the-talk! Overall it was okay.
