I just stayed at pink for about a week. I really liked it. Nice staff, that's super helpful. Good rates. The a/c is super cold if want it to be. Chill deck/common space. Clean. When I go back to Manila I'll stay here again.

The owner seemed money-hungry, trying to get money from every little charge!

I went because of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Don't expect miracles, but if you've stayed in hostels before you'll recognise that this is a great one.

We (me and 4 other girls) had a blast here! Definitely a place to meet other travelers and party by the pool! Suggestions: 1. print out the directions because we had to use them heavily while in the taxi. 2. watch out for fake meters! It should cost NO MORE than 300 pesos from the airport, and INSIST on this. 3. When you pull up, the outside looks sketchy but then you go up to the 5th floor and it's a little oasis with GREAT views of Manila!

I enjoyed my stay! Something that could be a useful addition is a bus/boat booking service (i.e. being part travel agent) as this seems difficult to do independently. Especially since for many Manila is the starting point of their trip.

Definitely the best place to stay in Manila! it's such an awesome hostel. Even if some parts are still under construction the atmosphere was amazing! But the best things about this hostel is the staff. They couldn't be better. Really kind, friendly, always willing to make your stay as good as possible. The Swedish girl was marvelous. She even took us out one night and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this hostel. Really looking forward to coming back to Manila and stay there!

Pink Manila is the place to be in Manila. The hostel atmosphere is great - every night I was there the guests and the owner would hang out by the pool. The hostel was still under renovation when I stayed there, and I predict it will be even better once the rooftop lounge is complete. Definitely worth your time if you're staying in Manila or if you have a layover in Manila between island hopping.

Chrissy and the staff of the Pink Manila Hotel were excellent. It was a newly renovated hostel with a pool which had a view onto the city. It was easy to meet fellow travelers and locals. This one was one of my best hostels stays.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was great. I felt the best thing was the staff who are awesome people and helped me and others a lot with finding things to do and places to eat in Manila. Two downsides would have to be that since it's new it was hard for taxi drivers to find it even with a map and the bathrooms could have used more regular cleaning although they were not all that bad.

Nice little place. The staff are very friendly and approachable so its easy to make plans. The dorm rooms are comfortable enough and the pool, terrace and bar are all great spots to hang around as well.

Pink Manila was great! Would definitely recommend. Staff is helpful and friendly (not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, I found the Swedish host to be quite nice!). Atmosphere was chill and there was a great common area by the pool to meet other guests. Just a quick walk to the Vito Cruz station and right near a local university so the area felt safe. Will definitely be staying here again next time in Manila!

Very friendly and nice atmosphere but guys, you need to clean up that hostel more often and fix the beds somewhere, I felt like sleeping on a boat...
