i really loved my staying at pinks. Bungolows are really nice and they are on the beach.

We had a really good stay at Pink's. She was very hospitable and a gracious host to all her customers. We liked that the beach is less than 50 meters from our front door and was very relaxing.

The staff were below average, they were either yelling at each other and guests or doing nothing at all. It took me 5 minutes to get a drink one night and other times I just gave up. The location was easy to get to from the port and easy to taxi to for full moon if you don't want to stay in Haad Rin. 7/11 was just up the road for all your water and snack needs. It's exactly as I expected and if you're willing to over look its negatives for a cheap place to stay you'll be fine.

The organisation at this hostel was appalling. We booked months in advance to avoid disappointment as we were staying over the full moon period. However when we arrived they did not have our details. After a few hours of waiting, they eventually found our booking but they'd double booked us so we had to find alternative accommodation. The owner was rude and not very helpful. This was a big blow as it was the full moon party the following day and we were extremely lucky to find a room elsewhere.

I am sending you an email as I couldn't write everything I needed to with the amount of characters on here!! But they had no booking for us. The bungalows are filthy and toilet does not have a proper flush. Cold shower. Bugs everywhere in room and bed. Padlock to lock room wouldn't even lock properly. The list can go on.

The good: Other people staying there were awesome, food was really really amazing (like delicious), English speaking staff were really nice. The Bad: our bed was a polystyrene block (although we were told by others that the actual bungalows had a real bed), most staff couldn't speak English. Overall, I think it was a good deal for what we paid, area and time of year, but it is definitely by no means glamorous. I would stay again (only in a bungalow), but my friends certainly wouldn't.

V.poor. no record of booking, tried to extort us an overcharge on arrival. Had to wait 4hours to checkin, staff had NO knowledge of anything.slow to react, 45min wait on food. Staff more concerned with tv an money than customer service. Cud rant for hours but no point. Great common area, if wasn't for fellow guests, wud have hated stay.

Loved the staff, very knowledgable

Staff were poor. Ordered food, that didn't get delivered and when looking at the order, they just crossed it out to make it look like it wasn't ordered at all. Bartender couldn't even give us a straight answer when ordering beers. Think the staff are high majority of the time. No sheets on the bed an and no duvet/sheet to use as a cover. Don't know the last time the mattress cover, if that's even what it was, had been washed.

When we arrived their was no clue that we were coming, booked on hostelworld 2 days before and the cheaper bungalow we had ordered was not avaliable so had to have a more expensive one but managed to get a small discount. The staff though were friendly, was a few minutes walking to 7 eleven and a few resturants. 20 minute tuk tuk to haad rin, and a short ride to the half moon party just up the road.

They are ok, but maybe the staff should improve their english and try to be easier to find them sometimes... Its located in a really good zone of the island.
