The Pint on Punt offers comfortable, clean and safe accommodation at an affordable price. This hostel holds a great atmosphere full of fun for those wanting to meet new people.
The staff are a mixed group of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people. Each have a diverse background and unique interests but have one very important thing in common-they also love the world of travel! They are happy to help with all enquiries and enjoy a good chat in the bar downstairs.
The Pint on Punt is perfectly located to all the happenings of St Kilda including the beach, bars, clubs, cafes, movies, gyms, Chapel Street's boutique stores, Albert Park Lake and the Grand prix circuit. The city centre and major sporting arenas are only a short tram ride away which also conveniently bypasses the beautiful botanical gardens. If you're new to Melbourne or need to get some general things organised we have a large range of banks, supermarkets as well as the local post office close by.
We offer:
-Free breakfast every morning of cereal, toast, tea and
coffee
-A mixture of 6 bed, 4 bed as well as private twin and
double rooms
-Fresh linen, pillow, duvet and towel ready on your bed
upon arrival
(and an extra blanket for the cooler months)
-Discounted evening meals in the bar bistro ranging
from $6-$10
-Fantastic and cheap drink specials in the bar
-Wide range of entertainment every night for free
including karaoke, trivia and small live music
acts
-Communal kitchen
-Common room with comfy couches to relax on while

We do provide a 24 hour check in service depending on availability. Reception is open from 8.15am-12pm daily. From 12pm we operate from the bar downstairs. For check ins between 11pm and 8.15am please contact us so we can organise an after-hours check in.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for guests under the age of 18

Great hostel, right above a pub with plenty of discounted meals and drinks for backpackers! Apart from a slightly small kitchen for such a large amount of guests, the facilities are good, cleaners are efficient and helpful and the atmosphere is friendly and fun.
