The B&B is very tastefully decorated and staff is very helpful and well meaning. Some of the rooms are quite small, but that doesn't in any way diminish the quality of the stay or the charm of the place. All in all, I'd say it's excellent value for money.

Cati and Oliver are the most welcoming hosts you could ask for! They helped us plan out our days and really made us feel so comfortable. Best place to stay in Marseille - great location, very relaxing and homey. Whenever I am back in Marseille, I'll be staying with them.

A really pleasant, friendly and excellent place to stay, this is a bed and breakfast on the ground floor of a house in Marseille, about five minutes walk to the Port. Owners Cati and Olivier made me feel thoroughly at home, including chatting over a glass of wine on the first evening. A good sized bedroom on the upper floor and very comfortable lounge, with cooking facilities on the ground floor, also as small inner garden. A generous self serve breakfast is included. Very highly recommended.

Cati and Olivier made us very welcome, they were very friendly, warm and offered amazing hospitality. Cati showed great kindness and hospitality when picking us up from the station and arranging our accommodation. She was generous and thoughtful in offering us beach towels & hats and slippers to use! There was a lovely kitchen where you can prepare food and make tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very helpful on places to visit. Great location, great place!

Cati is wonderful. It was truly an amazing experience staying in her guest house. I would not even categorize this beautiful home as what people would typically think of when they hear "hostel". This was a lovely B and B. Clean, great location, only about 10 min walk from central port area, and Cat recommended we go to a beautiful island which was only a short ferry ride away from the main port. Breakfast left out for us every morning and a little kitchenette too. Thank you for everything Cat!

Really nice stay! The owners are really nice and helpful and know a lot about the city and the sorroundings. The breakfast was huge and containing everything. In the common area there are lot's of books to read (and also a lot of other things) The kitchen is well-equipped.

This is the best place that I've ever stayed. Great location, Amazing people who own the guest house! They are more than helpful and friendly. The guesthouse has 3 bedrooms, and a full living room and kitchen!!! Some food is also provided like fresh bread everyday and fruit. The wifi worked great downstairs. There is also a small courtyard! Everything that was a part of my stay here was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The home-like atmosphere, very helpful and nice hosts, Cati and Olivier, who gave very good directions on where to go. One can borrow beach shoes and towels. Very clean and neat. The place is located not far from the main sights, and the Vieux Port. Altogether, very good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pitchounette and Olives! Olivier was very welcoming and gave us all the information we could ask for. The facilities were fantastic and the atmosphere was great. We followed Oliviers advice and spent an amazing afternoon swimming in the Calanques of Frioul. Would definitely revisit!!!! Thank you Olivier and Kati!

The property was situated in an area easy to walk to the main area of Vuille port and Notre Dame de la garde. It was like home from home with all facilities (hairdryer, shower gel etc-all the little things you may need but can't fit in your suircase). Olivier (one of the owners) was very welcoming and a lovely person to chat to offering advice on exploration of Marseille. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were wonderful and came and got us when we were lost. The rooms were really cute. Breakfast was self serve and included pastries, baguette, orange juice, and coffee. The B&B was well stocked and provided umbrellas and coats since we were surprised by the rain. The port is only a 5 minute walk away. I would also highly recommend taking one of the ferries out to the islands; we took the one to Frioul which has a beautiful beach and it was only 10 euros each.

We totally recommend it! the adventurer spirit of the owners -they are very very nice- is reflected in the atmosphere and decoration of the house. The location is close to Notre Dame de la Garde, the best point of view in the city. The rooms are really beautiful, original and comfortable, we were feeling like we were at home. Everything was perfect!!

The guesthouse manager/owner Oliver was kind, welcoming, and very helpful in providing advice on local spots, including safety tips for the beaches and surrounding areas. He even provided free maps in which he had highlighted some of the major attractions! With breakfast included and a clean and spacious bedroom, there was little more we could ask for!

Cati was the most wonderful B&B owner I've ever met! She was so welcoming and took great care of us. The location is great, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast is so lovely to wake up to. Cati taught us some French over a glass of wine on the patio area, and she helped us plan our daily itineraries. If you are going to Marseille, PLEASE PLEASE stay at Pitchounette & Olives! I will surely stay here the next time I return.
