My sister and I had an amazing three night stay in Toronto at the Planet Traveler! Everyone was very accommodating, our room was perfect and they have free breakfast every morning... what's not to like!

Nice hostel, with a very helpfull staff. Breakfast available until 1pm, that's good if you want to sleep in. Bathroom is in a separate room so you don't disturb other persons in your room in the morning or evening.

The hostel is a great base to explore torobto, would be better with more activies during the week. BBQ on Saturday is great but the bar crawl needs improving

Awesome place, wish the common rooms were open later, but the long free breakfast more than makes up for it. Very enjoyable stay, up and down the stairs is a solid workout too!

Very decent hostel! Would have been good if each bunk had own light/plugs. Mattresses were VERY squeaky which was a slight annoyance at night.

The only thing I might have to critizize is that the roos are very small, so its not very comfy to stay longer than a few days or to spend time in your room

I really liked to stay at this hostel, because it has a really nice atmosphere! It's really clean and the staff takes good care about everything! The room I stayed in was quite small, but therefore the common areas are big (the lounge area with a big, modern kitchen and the rooftop - awesome!). The bathrooms all are really modern and what is more important, really clean! The breakfast is very good and until (!!!) 1pm, that gives you the chance to party, sleep in and still get breakfast :)

Well run, modern and great for your money. It's close to Kensington Market and a 15 minute tram from the CN Tower.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Planet travler as a hostel is very clean. The location in down town is very good. It takes only a 20-25 minutes walk to Dundas Square. I definitely recommend Planet Travler. :)

Second time here. Quality has not degraded. Excellent hostel.

After booking and confirmation of a private room for 3 nights I received a email several days later stating there was a mistake and the hostel was over booked and the room was available for one night only. The response time for follow-up questions was very slow. However, the location, staff, & people staying at the hostel made up for a lot of this. Very secure, clean and a fun experience. I'd stay again in a heartbeat assuming I get the room I book.

I really enjoyed my stay there. I thought the building was secure, clean, and I found the staff to be friendly. I found the hostel to be in a good location to getting around Toronto. The free breakfast was a good aspect of my stay, and the Niagara Falls tour was definitely worth the day!

at arrival my friend and I were informed that the hostel was over booked so instead of the private room we had booked my friend and I were given a 5 person dorm room to ourselves. Upon departure we found out that the staff member that checked us in did not inform the other staff of what had happened and we were questioned and very much told off for staying in what we found out to be an all girls dorm...while i am female my friend was a male....the hostel was great except for that experience..

I had a fantastic stay at Planet Traveller. I can not fault the staff, they were so helpful and friendly. The place is very clean and I always felt safe. The breakfast is great too! I would definitely stay there again.

There are a lot of long-stayers, which is not always best for the atmosphere for people who are traveling and settling in Toronto. There are not enough extra (non ensuite) toilets/showers on the floor, so if anybody is using the ensuite bathroom, you will have to wait.

Probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, good sized and clean rooms, clean bathroom, walking distance to any attraction in Toronto Downtown. Only WiFi could be a bit faster, it didn't work at all sometimes. But I am very satisfied overall. View from the terrace is amazing. They also offer free BBQ dinner for everyone on saturdays.

Perfect spot to get around Toronto from!! It was a bit noisy as we were facing the road but otherwise, great.

Nice and friendly hostel. Fantastic view from bar upstairs. 24hr reception would b great.

The hostel is lovely and clean, great location short walk to city centre, tiny rooms hardly enough for 6 people and bags. Beautiful bathrooms better than a lot of hotels. Cool rooftop patio but found activities lacking (walking tours etc). My only fault was the staff. I don't know if it was a language barrier thing but they were very unfriendly and unapproachable. Everytime I asked a question it felt like I'd asked them to cut off a limb.
