This was the absolute greatest hostel that I've stayed in! I was mostly impressed by the cleanliness of the facility as well as the location. If I'm ever in Toronto again, I know exactly where to lay my head and meet interesting people who are on a journey through Canada.
Really nice place for spending a couple days in Toronto. They exchanged my US dollars and someone helped me with finding things to do and places to see. Would recommend.
It has the coolest lobby, it's like an Ikea and Apple showroom, lol The staff are very nice and helpful. Would stay here again if ever in the Toronto area
Great experience! Highly recommended! Clean room, friendly staff, and welcoming! Met some great folks. Definitely will return soon.

The only thing I would change is that the rooms are fairly small. It would already help to put the beds up higher so the suitcases can fit under them. But everything worked out. I also liked that the lockers were included and for free! The staff was amazing! They were fun, helpful, nice and everything you could ask for in hostel staff members. The location in Kensington Market is really nice and I felt safe there all the time! I would definately stay there again!
It's a really nice hostel, with a lovely staff. I would stay there again. They have a rooftop where you can hang out with the other guests and you can also have a nice view of the city.
Clean, nice staff, central. Thank you guys. I would come back. :-)
This is the most modern and cleanest hostels I have ever stayed in. The location is excellent and close to so many great areas and is right in the middle of Kensington market. The rooftop patio had a great view and the breakfast was one of the best I have come across. The hostel was pretty quite but it was winter so was to be expected. The hostel was very warm and had a fireplace and well protected with security features. Overall in the top 7 of my favourite hostels ever.
Sleek, modern, efficient, planned, organised, green. This is a top end hostel where it is clear to see that a long long time was spent in the architects/interior designers office before a single lick of paint touched the walls. Great common area, bedrooms and roof terrace with the best view in Toronto. The only really issue is that it could be a little too clinical and rules based. Many hostels have character and vibe - these words are not applicable here.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Amazing free breakfast til 1pm every day. Staff were all great and friendly- however special mention for Nicolo who helped us hail a cab even after his shift had finished. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Toronto :)
Located in a cool area just outside of the city. 10min walk to the metro. In a 6 bed dorm rooms were good. Not enough places to sit and chill in the downstairs common room at night. Staff were helpful but often seemed really busy like they had too much going on. Would stay again
Noise levels were very high in our room at the front of the hostel, didn't get much sleep as a result.
Although I enjoyed my stay at hostel, I had to manage reading at nights, as a result of lack of individual reading lamp.

Honestly some of the coolest staff I've come across. The owner threw a nice Xmas party with actual nice food! Rooftop bar is cool (literally, it was cold up there) but there is an indoor section. The lobby has a modern yet cozy vibe to it. It all comes together very well to make you feel at ease.
It's a really good we'll-run hostel in a very convenient location and good price. My only complaint is that the rooms -private rooms anyway- were a bit cold as we were there in December. I tried adjusting the thermostat outside but it had little effect. I imagine the opposite would be true in summer -hot rooms without enough circulation to keep it cool.
My stay at Planet Traveler was great! The hostel is in a nice location. It´s a short walk to downtown Toronto and I basically walked almost everywhere. The rooms are quite small, but clean and quiet compared to other hostels I´ve stayed in. The staff was very nice and helpful, they made me feel as if I was visiting friends at their house. The common area downstairs is very modern and bright which I really liked. I would have loved to visit during the summer to use the awesome rooftop terrace!
I really like Planet Traveler. Especially staffs always keep area clean. Whatever I asked, they always smile and help me. I like the view which from the rooftop. Planet Traveler offers really good service, I highly recommend everybody to live in there while you are traveling in Toronto. =)
