we had a great stay at planeta hostel! the staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities very well maintained and clean. only a couple of small issues that we experienced...the sheets in the double room are threadbare and could be replaced, and the price is high for a shared bath. we paid the same rate (220 pesos per night) at other hostels for a double with private bathroom. and bring earplugs!!

The hostel is clean and nice but the stuff gave us wrong information and in the last day , when we needed to wait for our bus, they didn\'t allow as to cook nor to wait in the hostel. They told us to get out I\'ve stayed in many hostels bit it\'s the first time that I see such a rude behavior.

This is a very nice hotel in the downtown of Esquell (be aware the Lonely PLanet 2010 shows a wrong adress and location on the map!!!!). we stayed in the double room which is to the back yard,so quiet and also clean. The common bath rooms are okay and clean and there was always place to go in. The staff was friendly and helpfull as we stranded in the very early morning and the town was still asleep for some hours more.
