Took the staff at least 20mins to see to me even though I was the only one waiting to check-in, they all kept walking by saying 'someone will be with you soon'. There only appeared to be 3 other people in the entire hostel so the atmosphere was non-existent. The bar downstairs is ok but I wouldn't recommend this place.
Nice little hostel - in town so quite a walk from the beach (3.5km). Good place to chill for a night if youre travelling between Byron and Sydney.
Funky hostel approx 10 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the town center. Only stayed for one night but seemed like a sociable hostel and a relaxed chilled out vibe! Stayed in a double room which was basic but perfect for what we needed.
Nice place, clean, friendly staff, cheap bar downstairs had fun playing the trivia quiz
No staff available at the counter at most times. Staff at the bar was only reluctantly willing to help. Location too far off the beach. There should be a shuttle going there as well as to the bus stop.
One of the best hostels I stayed at in Australia. The staff was awesome, especially the manager. Really Clean. It is a bit far from the beach about a 40 minute walk, but it is 5 minutes to the shopping street and supermarket. The cinema is 25 minute walk and the botanic gardens 15 minutes. You def. want to go to the gardens. Very nice. For the dutchies there is a Clog Barn(20minutes) where they sell dutch pastries. A bit overpriced, but always nice to eat something familair.
