Unfortunately we had problems with our booking. The host didn't have a confirmation although I had received a confirmation via email. Not sure who's fault that was. We had to change from a 4 and 2 bed room to a 8 bed mixed dorm and a 2 bed room. The host was very friendly and polite in doing this for the dorm price. Nevertheless it was a bit annoying... The hostel itself has a great view from the balcony, a braai facility and a big common room. The bunk beds were a bit unstable.

We booked a double room and the one we got wasn't in the backpacker building itself. It was in the slightly dodgy backyard. The room itself could have potential for a nice room, but most of the furniture (kitchen) was broken and there was mould on most of the walls. Lightbulbs were missing and the sink dripped (probably had a lack) everytime we used it. The linen wasn't really clean. Although in the main building they had a nice roof terrace (facing the sea) and the owner was friendly.
