The staff are friendly and very informative, with plenty of recommendations. As others have said, the bathrooms are VERY small-- I'm 5'4", so my legs aren't very long, and it was a tight squeeze even for me! But it is still good value. The beds are comfortable, though the ones in our 4-person room were noisy. Easy to find and in a great area, with quick access to the rest of Paris too.

Converted hotel into hostel, it offers that similar feel to a hotel, with a card access system and small rooms. On the small side, particularly the toilets - you will not be able to use the toilets in the 4 bed (or maybe otherwise) dorms if you consider yourself tall. No lockers in rooms if that bothers you, but, can store stuff with reception. Wifi in rooms works really well. Suits all age groups.

Nice staff, tiny elevator but not AS tiny as I expected based on all the reviews. Great bathroom, sunny and warm water. Room was warm enough, and big enough, and clean.

The reason I am givingh the staff a "poor" rating was the attitude of the lady who checked us in. When she informed our gorup that we had not been given two four bed dorms as requested- she did so with no apology and with an apathy that bordered rudeness. She was particularly rude and unhelpful and I can only presume was working there under duress. The gentleman who checked us out was much friendlier and helpful. It's a shame that the poor attitude on arrival marred our stay.

It is very difficult to find a hostel which has high rating in Paris. As many comments mentioned that the room is very small so that it is disturbing when someone in the room making a small noise. I stayed here for 3 nights in a 4 bed female dorm for room number 15, it is noisy outside the corridor after 11pm. Good things are the location of the hostel is good. Just few blocks away from the Metro station. And the room, especially the washroom is very clean.

I thought this was a good hostel for a one night stay. We had one of the 3 bed privates. Very small room and very small bathroom. It was good for one night and close to Montmartre, which is what I wanted. Wouldn't stay for multiple days though, it was just to cramped.

The place was easy to find and right near a metro stop, which made it easy for us to get where we wanted to. We only stayed for two nights, but had a great experience. We arrived before check-in, but were still able to take a shower downstairs, grab breakfast and leave our bags at the front desk - the staff really went out of their way to help us out, which was amazing! I would definitely recommend it.

Some staff members were great- nice and willing to help with anything. The man who worked the desk at night, however, was grumpy and rude, and clearly resented us for being American.

As mentioned in other reviews - this is a small building and if you're over 5ft 6" it may be a bit of the struggle fitting in the toilet. We knew this before we came - it really wasn't a problem. Location is great, only a few steps away from some really great restaurants, the Sacré Coeur and the metro. Breakfast was ok and set you up well for the day. My only issue was with the 'baggage room' which was just an open room that everybody had access to. Granted it was filmed by a camera, but still..

Unfortunally there is no kitchen and there are no locker or cupboards. The breakfast was pretty good and much better than the normal hostel breakfast.

Really good location, the area is really nice and there many small shops and cafes to explore, and it is also only about a 5 min. walk from a metro station. This hostel offers a good breakfast to start your day. The staff were alright, they weren't super cheerful, but they did their job. Wifi was limited in the rooms, but they have computers you can use in the lobby. Overall I would recommend this hostel, and I would definitely stay in it again.

A problem with the keycards meant basically anyone could walk in and out of the hostel which wasnt ideal security wise but it was only temporary. Otherwise the hostel was well placed down the street from the metro and the famous Moulin Rouge which is great. It was also pretty reasonable value considering its Paris, sure the rooms were pretty small but thats just how it is. As others have said the bathroom is also small but nothing we found unbearable. Not the best for meeting other people thoug
